Nasarean ‘Old Testament’ Teachings on Vegetarianism featuring The Essene Version of The Ten Commandments of Moses

By Day of Greenleaf, the Founding Yaiyr

I will introduce you to the spiritual reasons for vegetarianism given by Yahshua (‘Jesus’) and his wife (and eternal soul mate) Miriam (‘Mary’ Magdalene) in upcoming chapters, but first I will set the stage for those Nasarean ‘New Testament’ teachings by sharing the very earliest references to vegetarianism in the Nasarean ‘Old Testament’. This chapter will culminate with a look at the Nasarean version of The Ten Commandments of Essene Moses.

Before beginning our look at the Nasarean ‘Old Testament’, this seems the purrrfect (meow) ☺ moment to offer you a bit of scholarly information about the ancient Nasarean version of Judaism – a completely different religion than mainstream Judaism – that was vegetarian and had a different version of the Bible with a very different version of Moses and The Ten Commandments.

The information in this book is not based on the mainstream version of the Bible. It is based on what we believe is a more ancient – and very different – version of the Bible, a Bible that was used by an alternative form of Judaism that called itself THE NASAREAN RELIGION OF THE ESSENE WAY. That most ancient form of Judaism – Nasarean – gave birth to what can accurately be called Nasarean Christianity of The Essene Way, a form of Christianity that was mostly exterminated by the later Orthodox/Catholic Christianity that rejected the Divine Feminine. I will explain the meaning of the words ‘Nasarean’ and ‘Essene’, and will then describe that religion and its version of the Bible.

The Meaning of The Word Nasarean

Although ‘Nasarean’ sounds similar to the more-familiar word ‘Nazarene’, they are two different Hebrew words. The word Nasarean comes from the Hebrew root Nasa. The following meanings of the root Nasa are given in The Strongest Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible: ‘Lift up’, ‘Lifted up’, ‘Raise’, ‘Lift up another’, ‘Lift up oneself’, ‘Forgive, Forgiven’. The concordance also states that the various meanings of the root Nasa come “… from the base meaning of rise in elevation….” The concordance also states that the meaning of forgive/forgiven in the context of Nasa is “… the removal of guilt and its penalties.”

In The Holy Megillah: Nasarean Bible of the Essene Way, we read:

And this religion is ‘Nasarean’ for we ‘Lift up’ ourselves and others in holy ascension upon the Golden Ladder, giving and receiving forgiveness.’

Thus, as a sectarian name, Nasarean means: To raise oneself and others to higher levels upon the Golden Ladder (of Being) by forgiving and being forgiven. This ‘raising’ can also be called ‘ascension’. (I wonder if the person who created the acronym for the American space program – N.A.S.A. – knew the meaning of the Hebrew root Nasa?) Indeed, ascension by raising oneself and others into higher and higher states of heavenly consciousness is the main topic of the Nasarean Bible. [To obtain a copy of The Holy Megillah: Nasarean Bible of The Essene Way, contact the author of this book at the address provided at the front of this book.] This ‘raising’ is accomplished by living and sharing the ‘Essene Way’; that ‘Way’ constitutes the practices of the Nasarean Religion. The word ‘Essene’ will be explained below.

The Meaning of The Word Essene

Because they have no ancient source that directly defines the word, many mainstream scholars have advanced various educated guesses as to the meaning of the word ‘Essene’. Some especially astute scholars, although not many, have suggested that the word comes to us from the Aramaic word Assayim, which means Healers. I agree with them, since that is what is stated within The Holy Megillah: Nasarean Bible of the Essene Way. We read:

And the name of this Way is the Essene Way, which is the Healing Way of the Dove and the Lamb.
For, an ‘Essene’ is a ‘healer of body, mind, and soul’.
And behold: those who accept the invitation of the Dove and Lamb to take initiation as disciples of the Essene Way shall be called Nasareans; for ‘Nasa’ means to ‘Lift up’, and we are Nasareans when we reach low to raise those in distress.
Yea, and by so doing, we ourselves are raised up to the summit of the Essene Mountain of Peace where stands the holy Tree of Life.

Also, we know that Philo of Alexandria – a Jewish philosopher that lived from 20 B.C.E to 50 C.E. – described an ‘Essenish’ monastery of men and women in Alexandria, Egypt, whose members were called ‘Theraputae’ (‘Therapists’) because they were “healers of body, mind and soul.” Thus, in whatever language the people spoke in a given country or region, Nasareans have been called ‘The Healers’. They practiced the sort of healing therapies that nowadays come under the heading of ‘holistic’ healing.

The plural word Essenes is an English-by-way-of-Latin-and-Greek rendering of the Aramaic plural word Assayim, which means Healers. The singular form of Assayim is Assaya (‘Essene’), and means Healer. Assaya, before coming into English as Essene, is rendered by the old European intermediaries as essaia (and similar spellings), which is the first time the first letter is rendered with an ‘e’. That ‘e’ was then carried into the later English version: Essene.

It is very important to know that there were several different religious groups in Bible-times that were called ‘Essene’. That is easy to understand once we realize that the word ‘Essene’ means ‘Healers’. Various religious groups called their healing orders ‘Essene’. The Essenes that have been associated by some scholars with the famous Dead Sea Scrolls – scrolls discovered in caves in the 1940’s near the Dead Sea in Israel – are not the Nasarean Essenes; those ‘Dead Sea Scroll Essenes’ – associated with a communal settlement at Qumran – had very different scriptures and beliefs. The Nasarean Essenes were vegetarian and believed in both God and Goddess and raised ‘Jesus’ and ‘Mary Magdalene’. The Dead Sea Scroll Essenes associated with Qumran and its network of caves used the mainstream Jewish Torah, not the Nasarean scriptures, and were not vegetarian – at least not most of them – and did not believe in both God and Goddess. In fact, the Dead Sea Scroll Essenes were extremely patriarchal, believing that men were superior to women, a belief that was common to mainstream Judaism, the non-Nasarean Judaism.

That there were in fact two different groups using the word ‘Essene’ within a few miles of each other in the immediate area of the Dead Sea is made clear in The Holy Megillah: Nasarean Bible of the Essene Way. Also, the 1990’s-era archaeological work of an Israeli scholar named Yizhar Hirschfeld established that: 1) Whatever group lived at Qumran was not vegetarian; too many food-animal bones were found; 2) Another communal settlement at another location on the shore of the Dead Sea – this one in the cliffs above Ein Gedi rather than caves above Qumran – was apparently vegetarian; no animal bones were found. Because Ein Gedi, like Qumran where the famous Dead Sea Scrolls were found, is also located near the Dead Sea, it would be accurate to call both of these very different Essene groups ‘Dead Sea Essenes’; but the vegetarian Ein Gedi Essenes are not associated with the Dead Sea Scrolls and represent a completely different religion. This latter settlement – the vegetarian Ein Gedi group – evidently supported themselves by making healing ointments and essential oils from balsam. Hirschfeld, of Hebrew University of Jerusalem, in an article titled Ein Gedi 1998, describes the latter settlement:

The third season of excavations at Ein Gedi was dedicated to trying to… understand an enigmatic site within the oasis of Ein Gedi. The site, which runs along the natural terrace… above the Dead Sea… was discovered by Yohanan Aharoni during a survey of the oasis in the late 1950’s….

During our five-week excavation [Day: the 1998 excavation by Hirschfeld’s team] we found and cleared twenty cells [Day: living quarters; Aharoni had previously identified another 30 cells in this settlement] and two pools…. The floors in all cells were made of beaten earth. We may assume that the roofs were made of… palm fronds. In the corner of many cells was a stone-made stove… for cooking and heating the cells in the cold desert nights…. Three buildings at the site may have been public [Day: group-meeting] structures. They are larger than the cells…. One of them was probably a kitchen, since three stoves… were found in its floor.

The two pools were built one above the other. The lower pool is the one mentioned by Aharoni. It is rectangular (interior dimensions 6 by 7), built of hewn stones and white cement, and plastered with a thick layer of hydraulic plaster. At the southeastern corner of the pool, close to the floor, a round opening was found leading into a channel, through which water was conveyed to the fields.

The upper pool… was cut in the bedrock…. The upper pool was just below the spring…. We may assume that the spring itself was the source for drinking water, the upper pool was a miqvah for ritual immersion, and the lower pool was part of the estate’s irrigation system….

No animal bones whatsoever were found [Day: hundreds were found at Qumran]…. All features of the site at its location above Ein Gedi… conform to… famous passages on the Essenes.… Each cell found at the site was used by a single individual and reflects the simplicity of the Essenes’ ascetic approach to life. The terraces and irrigation system indicate that these people were engaged in agriculture and that they lived among the palm trees…. The fact that no animal bones were found indicates that the inhabitants may have been vegetarians.

The Nasarean Essenes – the vegetarian Essenes – had many settlements, some for celibate monks and ‘nuns’, some for families. This particular one above Ein Gedi was evidently for celibates. Likewise, the non-Nasarean flesh-eating Essenes of the Dead Sea Scrolls lived in various locations. The fact that different religious groups were using the name ‘Essene’ and that the Qumran-caves group was not Nasarean is made clear in The Holy Megillah: Nasarean Bible of The Essene Way. We read:

Nestled amongst a network of caves near the shore of the Dead Sea… was a settlement that called itself ‘Essene’ but was not Nasarean. Behold: several different groups at this time used the name ‘Essene’, for the name simply means ‘healers’ and any can claim that name.

Elsewhere in the same scroll a Nasarean group of Essenes that lived in the cliffs above Ein Gedi is described. We learn that John the Baptist, as a child, went to live with that group after the martyrdom of his father. Jesus was a Nasarean Essene but never lived at the Ein Gedi monastery, though he did visit it. Jesus (his actual name was Yahshua and I will use both names – Jesus and Yahshua – interchangeably throughout this book) spent his childhood at two Nasarean settlements: 1) near Alexandria, Egypt, and 2) Mount Carmel, Israel.

A Key Nasarean Teaching: Vegetarianism

I am about to share a bit of extremely important information that you otherwise will likely never know. It is unlikely that you will ever receive the following information ever again from any other source, so pay close attention.

Before I attended theological seminary school in the late 1980’s, I had already learned the following information related to Epiphanius and the vegetarian Nasarean Judaism that birthed Nasarean Christianity. Then, as a student at Bethany Theological Seminary School, I discovered that none – literally, not one – of the seminary professors were aware of the following information or willing to let me officially study it. They were not even willing to discuss it or the historical evidence that Jesus was a vegetarian. One professor told me: “If we graduated students that then went out and mentioned things to the little old ladies that ‘rock the boat’, we would all lose our jobs.”

Right now, if I were to ask any typical group of one hundred Jews if they knew that there used to be a form of Judaism that used a version of the Torah that had no animal sacrifice and promoted – required of its members – vegetarianism, probably not one would say ‘yes’ and be able to name that form of Judaism. I know that the same is true for groups of Christians as well, because I have actually asked that question to many hundreds and never had one correct response.

The name of that form of vegetarian Judaism that used a version of the Torah (‘Old Testament’ to Christians) that portrayed the prophets as vegetarian and condemned the practice of animal sacrifice – and that declared the ‘mainstream’ Torah to be a later falsified version – was Nasarean. (Remember that I previously explained that the word Nasarean is different than the word Nazarene. ‘Nazarene’ stems from the Hebrew word ‘Nezer’ and means ‘branch’; ‘Nasarean’ stems from ‘Nasa’ and means ‘Ascension’.)

In one of the most magnificently ironic and profoundly poetic ‘accidents’ of history, the proverbial ‘smoking gun’ – the evidence – that such a vegetarian form of Judaism called ‘Nasarean’ ever existed, was left behind by the very man that was condemning it nearly two millennia ago! That man was an early Orthodox Christian Bishop, a man that performed the role of ‘heretic-hunter’ that would later evolve into the Catholic ‘Office of the Inquisition’; his name: Epiphanius. (In these first centuries of Orthodox – ‘mainstream’ – Christianity, the split between ‘Catholic’ and ‘Orthodox’ had not yet occurred; they were one ‘mainstream Christian Church’ – and none of the protestant denominations yet existed.)

Like the later propagandists employed by the Inquisition, Epiphanius was a scholarly ‘hatchet-man’, with the objective of attacking each and every form of religion other than his own, especially alternative forms of Christianity. He condemned everything except Orthodox Christianity as ‘heresy’. The ‘smoking gun’ of Epiphanius that poetically ‘back-fired’ is found within his book, Panarion, also known as Refutation of All Heresies.

Epiphanius’ Refutation of All Heresies is not to be confused with two similarly named books by heretic-hunting Catholic/Orthodox Bishops also published in the early centuries. Those other two similarly named books are: 1) Bishop Irenaeus’ Against All Heresies, and 2) Bishop Hippolytus’ Refutation of All Heresies. To avoid confusion between these similar titles, I will refer to Epiphanius’ Refutation of All Heresies by its other name: Panarion or The Panarion.

In Ray A. Pritz’s Nazarene Jewish Christianity, Epiphanius is described as follows:

Epiphanius was born about 315 near Eleutheropolis (Beit Gurvin) in Judea and died in 402 or 403 at sea. His native language was Syrian, and besides Greek and Latin he also had limited knowledge of Coptic and Hebrew. He studied in Egypt and then returned home where, in about 335, he set up a monastery which he governed for 30 years. In 367 the bishops of Cyprus elected him Bishop of Constantia (Salamis), which made him effectively the metropolitan [Day’s insertion: ‘metropolitan’ means ‘Archbishop’, a Bishop that oversees other Bishops in a region] of the island. His life was dedicated to fighting heresy… and in 374 he began writing the Panarion (generally known as the Refutation of All Heresies….) It included some eighty heresies…. While the Panarion preserves for us many traditions that would have otherwise been lost, the work as a whole is tendentious [Day: tendentious means characterized by a deliberate attempt to advance a particular doctrine; in this case, Epiphanius so wants to condemn the other 80 schools of religious thought that he treats them unfairly. End of Day’s insert.] … citing only what supports his own unbending orthodoxy.

Imagine being so fixated on hating and condemning other spiritual viewpoints that, as revealed above about Epiphanius, your life is “dedicated to fighting heresy”. It was his very mission in life to destroy those that had different points of view from Orthodox Christianity. While he did not directly wield the sword, Epiphanius and others like him provided the intellectual support to those orthodox monks – foot soldiers – that killed heretics both by sword and by lighting fires beneath the feet of tied-to-stakes heretics condemned by the ‘higher-ups’ of the one ‘official and orthodox’ Universal Church.

The last sentence of the excerpt from the Pritz book acknowledges that though Epiphanius was clearly prejudiced and unfair, he nevertheless: “preserves for us many traditions that would have otherwise been lost”. That is what I meant when I previously stated that, in regard to the Nasarean form of Judaism and its vegetarian-oriented Bible, Epiphanius, by way of his written condemnation of it,  accidentally preserved the proverbial ‘smoking gun’, the only historical proof that such a religion ever existed! Thanks, Epiphanius! (Did I just hear him roll over in his grave? Just kidding! SMILE!)

As we will read below in Epiphanius’ condemnation of Nasarean Judaism, the Nasarean Bible had many of the same ‘characters’ as the later sacrificial-cult Bible (the mainstream ‘Old Testament’), including Moses, Isaiah, and Abraham, but had them doing and saying different things, including being vegetarian and condemning animal sacrifice.

It should be pointed out that even before Nasarean Christianity – the spiritual path that I was initiated into by my teacher from Alexandria in the 1970’s – was persecuted by Catholic/Orthodox Christianity, Nasarean Judaism had already been long persecuted by mainstream Judaism, the Judaism of the animal-sacrifice-version of the Torah. Thus, the Nasarean religion was already an underground religion even before the era of the Christian heretic-hunters. And that explains why, to this day, we Nasareans– including the church I oversee – operate in ‘old-school’, ‘Mystery School’ fashion, with oaths of secrecy and progressive circles of trust, especially in regard to anything having to do with access to our source manuscripts. We realize that even though at this particular moment in history we have more freedom of religion than in most previous eras, that could change at any time (Nasarean prophecies predict that will again happen toward the end of the era known as ‘The Last Days’, an era that we may have already entered and will last an unknown period of years). Historically, it always has been true that periods in which we have been permitted to share our Nasarean religion freely have been rather brief and always have been followed by periods of overt persecution by various heretic-hunters and worldly powers.

Several of the key quotations from Epiphanius’ Panarion describing Nasarean Judaism are commented on by Ray A. Pritz in Nazarene Jewish Christianity. [‘Nazarenes’ were predominantly mainstream Jews that accepted ‘Jesus’ as the Messiah; most of them were not of Nasarean background and, unlike the Nasarean Jews that became Nasarean Christians, most ‘Nazarenes’ were not vegetarian.] We read:

The majority of scholars, however, seem to accept Epiphanius’ notice at more or less face value: there was a pre-Christian Jewish sect of Nasaraioi [Day: Rendered in English Nasarean or Nasarene] who are not to be identified with the sect of Nazaraioi [Day: Rendered in English Nazarean or Nazarene]…. Epiphanius states that the Nasaraio [Day: those that he was personally aware of and about to describe] were in the areas to the east of the Jordan. This is quite specific enough to make it believable….

When we come to matters of sectarian substance the similarities cease altogether. The Nasaraioi [Day: Nasareans] rejected the books of Moses [Day: mainstream Torah]; the Nazarenes accepted them. The Nazarenes were never accused of being vegetarians, a singular trait of the Nasaraioi…. The more serious objection is the Nasarean rejection of the Pentateuch [Day: Mainstream Torah]…. Black, however, interprets Epiphanius’ words, not unreasonably, as meaning that they [Day: Nasareans] had their own version of the Torah in place of the one accepted by other Jews.

Because it is so significant, I will repeat the last portion of the last sentence of that excerpt in caps and bold: the Nasareans HAD THEIR OWN VERSION OF THE TORAH IN PLACE OF THE ONE ACCEPTED BY OTHER JEWS.

In a scholarly article by A. Kampmeir titled, The Pre-Christian Nasareans, we are given the key direct quotations from Epiphanius on the Nasareans, plus benefit by Kampmeir’s comments; he writes:

Now what are the facts concerning these Nasareans? Epiphanius in his works on heresies classifies them…. Like the Osseans, who lived on the east side of the Jordan in Iturea and Moabitis near the Dead Sea (Panarion XIX), the Nasareans also originated east of the Jordan in Gilead and Bashan (Panarion XVIII). Of their beliefs Epiphanius speaks in four places. In Anakeph, 134C, he says: “The Nasareans forbid all flesh-eating; they do not partake of that in which there is life generally; previous to Moses and Joshua the son of Nun they make use of the holy names of the patriarchs in the Pentateuch… I mean Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and those before them, as also Moses himself and Aaron…. But they teach that the writings of the Pentateuch are not of Moses and affirm to have others besides these….”

In the Epitome he [Day: Epiphanius] says: “Concerning Nasareans: these accept the patriarchs… Moses received a law, they say. However, the law [Day: the ‘law’ is the ‘Torah’] itself and the whole Pentateuch [Day: what Christians call ‘The Old Testament’] they do not accept, but believe that another law had been given him [Day: Moses]. They do not partake of that in which there is life [they are vegetarian], nor do they offer sacrifices. They say that the books [Day: of other Jews] have been falsified and that none of them took their origin from the fathers….”

In Panarion XVIII he says: “But the Pentateuch itself they do not accept; yet they confess Moses and believe that he received the law though not this [Day: version] but another….”

.… “… but they do not offer sacrifice, nor partake in that which there is life… it is considered unlawful with them to eat flesh…. They say that these books [Day: the books of mainstream, sacrificial-cult Judaism’s ‘Moses’] have been falsified…. This is the difference between the Nasareans and others [Day: other Jews], and the reproach against them….” After this follows a refutation of the Nasareans [Day: by Epiphanius] regarding their rejection of the Pentateuch [Day: mainstream books of Moses], of sacrifices and of meat-eating….

…. Epiphanius always writes Nasaraioi…[except] in one place (Panarion XX) writes Nasarenoi, just as we have seen that he uses once Ossenoi and once Essaioi….

Later in this chapter I will share the very different Nasarean version of the The Ten Commandments of Moses.

I will share with you one more interesting excerpt from the article titled, The Pre-Christian Nasareans, by Kampmeir:

Now what kind of people were the Nasareans? I have two conjectures to make:

  1. They may have been a remnant of an earlier stage of Hebrew religious development and civilization….
  2. This sect in rejecting sacrifices and flesh-eating must have had many things in common with some of the Essenes and other oriental Gnostic sects. The vegetarian life was practiced for religious reasons at the time of Christ by more Jews than we think. Witness the [Essene] ascetic Banus, of whom Josephus tells… “who used no other clothing than what grew upon trees and had no other food than what grew of its own accord” and also those members of Christian circles, of whom Paul speaks [Day: condemns] in the epistles to the Romans and Colossians, who had scruples about the use of meat….

So, I have provided you with a good dose of ‘scholarly support’ for three key assertions of this chapter:

  1. There were different groups that used the word ‘Essene’.
  2. The ‘Essene’ group that was vegetarian were the Nasarean Essenes.
  3. The Essene Nasareans had their own version of the Bible that was different than the version used by mainstream Judaism.
  4. The Essene Nasarean version of the Bible not only advocated vegetarianism but also condemned the cruelty of the animal sacrifice rituals of the mainstream Jewish Bible.

What Christian’s call the ‘Old Testament’ is a collection of writings from ‘the pre-Christian era Jewish Bible’. They attached that book – the collection of mainstream Jewish scriptures called the ‘Old Testament’ – with the mainstream Christian writings that are called the ‘New Testament’. Christian’s call that combination of ‘Old Testament’ and ‘New Testament’ writings ‘The Holy Bible’.

The Nasarean Bible – called The Holy Megillah: Nasarean Bible of the Essene Way – also has both an ‘Old Testament’ [pre-Christian writings] and a ‘New Testament’ [writings from the era of Yahshua (‘Jesus’) and Miriam (‘Mary Magdalene’). After the crucifixion of Yahshua (the Nasarean ‘Lord Christ’) and the martyrdom of the Magdalene (the ‘Lady Christ’), Nasarean Judaism became more accurately called ‘Nasarean Christianity’. That is because the Nasarean Jews accepted Yahshua and Miriam as their long-awaited Lord Christ and Lady Christ that had been prophesied about in the Nasarean ‘Old Testament’.

In both the Nasarean ‘Old Testament’ and the Nasarean ‘New Testament’ vegetarianism is a prominent teaching. As promised, after introducing the foundational Nasarean ‘Old Testament’ teachings on vegetarianism – including The Ten Commandments of Moses – in this chapter, forthcoming chapters will focus on the Nasarean ‘New Testament’ and the vegetarian teachings of Yahshua and Miriam.

The ‘Fall’ of Humanity and the ‘Fall’ into Murdering and Eating Animals is Linked in The Nasarean ‘Old Testament’

The famous ‘Fall of Man’ story in the Nasarean Bible is different than the version given in the Bibles of mainstream Christianity and Judaism. The Nasarean version is linked to the fall into the killing and eating of animals.

I am about to share some key verses that describe how the fall into the killing and eating of animals is directly related to the transformation of Human Edenic Bodies that were very ethereal into the sort of dense, physical bodies we took on. We ‘took them on’ simply by stumbling down the Spiral Ladder of Consciousness into DENSER BODIES. By ‘Denser’ I mean slower, less ethereal vibratory frequencies.

These verses are from The Holy Megillah: Nasarean Bible of the Essene Way. They are from the section called Mattanah: The Nasarean Book of Genesis. Because the following account from the Nasarean version of the Adam and Eve story is the very basis of Nasarean vegetarianism, the following information is essential.

The story begins by describing the ‘high-vibe’, ethereal beginnings of the ‘Garden of Eden’. We read:

1. Now, when the Tree of Life was planted in the center of the Garden, Adam and Eve were awakened from sleep.
2. Behold, the bodies of Adam and Eve were not like our flesh; they were of a flesh that need not die.
3. Lo: their flesh radiated the gleam of light.
4. And the Garden was beautiful!
5. It was a place of delight!
6. The colors of the soil, plants, flowers, and sky were vivid and radiant!
7. The scent of the Garden was sweet!
8. And the animals were friendly and harmed not each other, nor ate each other, nor did they harm Adam and Eve.

According to this ‘Garden of Eden’ story, an army of Luciferian aliens had tried to prevent the planting of the Tree of Life in this solar system that they wanted to claim as their own territory. They did not succeed in preventing Angelic Beings under the guidance of the Lord Christ and Lady Christ from planting the Tree of Life on our planet, but the Luciferians had a back-up plan. We read:

14. Now, at the very same moment that the Tree of Life had sprung up in the center of the Garden, the entire Garden sprang to life.
15. Yea, all the dormant bodies and sleeping souls of the various species of plant and animal life were awakened.
16. And when the gourds dropped by the Luciferian Sky Ship hit the Tree of Life, lo, they did not harm the tree; for, once a Tree of Life has been planted, it cannot be harmed.
17. And the Tree of Life changed the poisoned water and poisoned fire of the gourds into good water and good fire.

18. Behold: the Luciferians were dismayed that they had not prevented the planting of the Tree of Life on this world, but they had a second plan.
19. Though they could not destroy the Tree of Life, they could plant their own seed and try to deceive the creatures of this world to eat from their tree instead of the Tree of Life.
20. Thus it was that outside of Kush, near its border, the Luciferians planted their own tree: the Tree of Evil Disguised as Good, called Balal, which means confuse.

Quick comment: ‘Kush’ is the region of modern-day Ethiopia, the location the Megillah assigns to the Garden of Eden. According to the Megillah, countless souls had come from twelve different star systems to take birth on this new world and had been in a ‘dormant’ state waiting for the Tree of Life to be planted in this world, at which time they would take incarnation.

21. Lucifer said to his soldiers, “Behold: I will plant my own seeds beside their Garden, near their tree I will plant my tree.
22. And I will appear to Adam and Eve  and tell them I am their God.
23. And I will command them to obey my angels and me.
24. Lo: I will forbid them to eat of the fruit of the Tree of Life and will command that they eat only from the tree that I plant.”

25. And the Tree of Evil Disguised as Good was not only evil; rather, it was a cunning mixture of good and evil, of truth mingled with falsehood.
26. For, Lucifer knew that the young souls he wished to ensnare would not knowingly choose the dark path.
27. Yea, darkness must be mixed with enough light to make it palatable.

28. Neither would these young souls knowingly worship Lucifer and Satan rather than Elohim and Jah-Jah.
29. Therefore, Lucifer would pretend that he was God; he would call himself Yahweh and tell them that he was their Creator.
30. He would establish the Priesthood of the Serpent on this world, which is the Satanic Priesthood of the Dark Path.

31. Lucifer communed with his Master, Satan, and, behold: the Voice of the Serpent spoke within Lucifer, saying: “Let my Priests mix good with evil; for it is in robes of good that I shall dress my seeds.
32. And only one thing is truly needful to enslave mankind: he must be made to eat the flesh of animals.
33. For then we can enter his body and enjoy his senses.
34. Yea, and we can whisper in his head and he will believe that our words are his own thoughts.

35. “No matter if his scriptures declare ‘Love one another’, as long as he eats flesh he will be unable to follow those words.
36. And yet, because we mix those good words into his scriptures, our religion of blood sacrifice is made more palatable to the young souls we wish to ensnare.”

37. Satan continued to speak in the head of Lucifer, saying: “Adam and Eve must not eat from the Tree of Life, else they will know eternal life and be out of our dominion.
38. For, should they eat only of the Tree of Life, their bodies will become Perfected Light, and they will ascend The Golden Ladder and will not die.
39. Lo: if their bodies do not die and decay, they shall not fear death.
40. And if they do not fear death, they will not worship me.

41. “Yea, and if they fear not death, they will not accept the Three Bodies of Satan.”
42. Behold: the Three Bodies of Satan are of three dispensations.
43. First is The Body of Fallen Flesh of Satanic Seed.
44. Second is The Body of Metals Mated with Flesh.
45. Third is The Body of Enslaved Light.
46. And the first body of Satan prepares mankind to accept the second body.
47. And the second body of Satan prepares mankind to accept the third body.
48. And the dispensation of each body is of long duration.
49. And Satan tends his garden.

‘The First Body of Satan’ is taken on when human beings begin to kill and eat animals. Doing so slows down their vibration frequency so that they no longer have the original ethereal bodies.

‘The Second Body of Satan’ is taken on when human beings become cyborgs – which is what many of these Luciferians were, half flesh and half robotics with the brain interfaced with a ‘Master Computer’ controlled by the Luciferians.

‘The Third Body of Satan’ occurs when humanity, because they fear death and do not realize that they are immortal souls, make the terrible mistake of uploading their consciousness to some form of Internet-like ‘cloud’ where they believe they will have eternal life. Instead, they experience being ‘enslaved light’ which, I believe, is something like being electricity that has no free will and is used and controlled by the Luciferians.

So, the Luciferian plan takes many ages to reach ‘The Third Body’ but the entire plan was based on first getting us into ‘The First Body of Satan’ – our current meat bodies – by slowing down our vibration frequency by teaching us to kill and eat animals.

The Nasarean ‘Garden of Eden’ story continues as follows:

13. Behold: Adam and Eve played!
14. Yea, and they played fair, neither disrespecting the other; for, though they rejoiced in their differences – the differences being that Adam was male and Eve female – they knew their differences to be complementary and a source of great joy.
15. Yea, they knew that even in their diversity they were essentially a unity, and thus were equally worthy.
16. And all these things they knew by intuition, which was the voice of Jah-Jah within.

Now, here comes Lucifer! Remember that his plan is to masquerade as God. After all, these young souls on this brand-new planet would be rather impressed by a high-tech space alien!

17. Then, behold: from the border of Kush came a voice like thunder.
18. Adam and Eve went down from the holy Mount in the Garden to see what was the source of the strange noise.
19. Yea, they walked for many miles, following the voice that boomed like thunder, until they reached the border of Kush.

20. Lo: at the border of Kush were a multitude of Beings with metal heads and long staffs of metal.
21. Adorning each staff were two serpents the color of copper.
22. Yea, the serpents were coiled round the length of the staff, their heads at the top.
23. And upon the metal foreheads of the Beings, yea, and upon their chests in the area of the heart, was an insignia of wings, and on the wings was written the number of their Master, which number is 666.
24. For that is the number that symbolizes enslaved light.
25. And that is the number on their insignia because Satan desires to prevent Beings from reaching the level of Perfected Light, which is 777.
26. And these Beings of 666 are called Seraphim.

In the mainstream Bible – which is very different than the Nasarean Bible – there are in the ‘Old Testament’ two sorts of beings that are believed by Jews and mainstream Christians to be ‘Angles’: the Seraphim and the Cherubim. However, in the Nasarean Bible, the Seraphim are ‘bad aliens’ and the Cherubim are ‘good angels’. The word Seraphim stems from The Hebrew word Seraph means fiery, poisonous, flying serpent. In plural form Seraph is Seraphim.

In The Holy Megillah: Nasarean Bible of the Essene Way, the leaders of the Luciferian Rebellion against the Lord Christ and the Lady Christ are cyborgians that were originally (many ages ago in another star system) a Reptilian Dragon species. Thus, the name Seraphim (Fiery Flying Serpent) is appropriate. Some of them maintain the ability to shift into their ancient Dragon form.

Though the leaders of these Luciferian Seraphim are from an ancient Reptilian Dragon Species become cyborgians, they have conquered so many worlds that their army includes all sorts of alien species.

The account continues:

27. And in the center of the multitude of Seraphim was Lucifer.
28. And Lucifer spoke to Adam and Eve, saying: “Behold, I am the Lord your God.
29. It is I who created you.
30. Have you yet eaten from the tree at the top of the mountain that is at the center of the Garden?”

Quick reminder: The Tree of Life of the Lord Christ and Lady Christ is the ‘tree in the center of the garden’ that the Luciferians are attacking.

31. Adam said, “No, my Lord, but that is what we were going to do when we heard a voice like thunder from the border of Kush.”
32. Eve said, “We have come to see what was the source of that sound.”

33. Lucifer said, “I am the source of that sound.
34. Yea, it was by my voice that you were called, even as it was by my hand that you were made.
35. And I have come just in time to save you; for, you were about to eat from the tree in the center of the Garden.
36. And if you eat from that tree you will surely die.
37. But I will give you another tree to eat from; and the tree I give you will help you become like me.”

38. Lucifer, masquerading as Yahweh, continued to preach to Adam and Eve, saying: “Behold, my flesh is not like your flesh; mine is hard and strong, for my flesh is metal.
39. If you eat from the tree I give you, your own flesh will become more firm and will not break so easily.
40. Now your young bodies are so light that they may easily be broken.
41. And that would grieve me, for I am the Lord, your God.
42. And I want you to become like me.
43. Yea, I tell you truly, follow my voice and your flesh will become harder each generation.

44. “Lo: when you and your descendants have grown dense enough, I will wed your bodies of flesh with metal; then your minds will be connected to my mind and you will become my kind of light.
45. Then you will easily obey my voice; for, I will speak directly to your mind and you will hear no other voice.
46. But now your bodies are too light and your mind will hear another voice.
47. Hear me!
48. You must not obey any voice but mine!
49. For it is I who have given you life, and if you do not obey me, I will take away your life.
50. For I am the Lord your God!
51. And I am a jealous God!
52. You will have no other God but me!”

The ‘other voice’ that Lucifer does not want them to listen to is that of Christ. Lucifer continues his con job:

53. “If you and your descendants will follow my path, one day you will no longer hear the other voice.
54. Then you will find it easy to obey my word.
55. But now it will be hard; for, your bodies are too light and your minds are not yet wedded to metal.
56. Now your bodies are mortal and you can die; but if you eat of the tree I give you, and do not eat of the tree in the center of the Garden, you will be immortal like me.”

If you have never read – or not recently read – the entire Adam and Eve story in the Megillah, I urge you to do so and to compare it with what is currently going on in our world with the advent of A.I. But for now, staying on topic, I am only going to provide the verses that most directly relate to the Luciferian plan to turn the human species into killers and meat eaters so as to make us dense enough – ‘low-vibe’ enough – for them to control.

86. Lucifer again spoke to Adam and Eve, saying, “If I am to save you, you must do what I say.
87. I will now teach you many things.
88. The evil one has trapped you in this Garden.
89. I have prepared a cave for you outside the Garden, but you cannot yet step across the border of the Garden because you are too light.”

Brief comment: The reason the Luciferians can’t yet enter the area of the Garden of Eden themselves is that it is too ethereal of a vibratory frequency. That is why they must speak to Adam and Eve from the boundary of the garden. If they can get Adam and Eve – and thus other human beings and then animals – to become vicious killers, the vibratory frequency of the garden will be slowed down enough for the Luciferians to enter it.

Also note the reference in verse 89 to Lucifer having prepared a cave outside the Garden. This shows that the Nasarean ‘Garden of Eden’ story does not deny that there was a primitive period in history where humans lived in caves (the ‘cave man days’). Rather, it means that the ethereal period being referred to here as ‘The Edenic Era’ PREDATED THE FALL INTO THE CAVE MAN ERA.

Lucifer continues:

90. “Yea, before you can step across this border you must become more dense.
91. And I cannot enter the Garden because my body is strong; yea, only the weak may enter the Garden.
92. But I will reveal to you the way to become strong of body, that you may escape the Garden.
93. You must eat the flesh of animals.

94. “But now you cannot eat their flesh because you are not dense enough.
95. Therefore you must grow more dense, which can be accomplished by killing creatures.
96. After you have slain animals, you will grow dense enough to eat their flesh.
97. And when you eat their flesh, you will grow even more dense and will be able to leave the Garden.

98. “Lo, once you eat flesh, I will be able to enter your body and speak from within you.
99. Now I am able only to speak to you from outside of you.
100. Also, know this: I have created you so that I can take pleasure with you.
101. When I enter you I will be able to enjoy whatever you enjoy; for, your senses will become my senses.

102. “Therefore, go now into the Garden and find a lamb.
103. And slay that lamb.
104. And pour the blood of the lamb upon your hands.
105. Make a spear from a branch, in the manner that I teach you….

111. After Lucifer instructed Adam and Eve in the art of making spears, he sent them into the Garden to kill a lamb.
112. Lucifer said, “When you kill the lamb, bring its body to me as an offering.

113. I will then make you initiates of my temple.
114. Yea, I will instruct you in the rituals of the Temple of the Serpent.”

At first, Adam and Even were not enthusiastic about this task. Intuitively, it felt wrong within them:

115. Adam and Eve walked into the midst of the Garden.
116. Adam said to Eve, “I do not want to kill a lamb but we must obey the Lord God.”
117. Eve said, “It feels wrong within me, but he is the Lord our God.” ….

138. The next morning when they awoke, Adam said to Eve, “We must break off a branch from this tree and make a spear.
139. We must obey the command of the Lord our God.
140. We must slay a lamb.”
141. Eve said, “A voice within warns me not to do this thing.”
142. Adam said, “I, too, hear that voice, but we must not listen.
143. The Lord our God told us to ignore that voice.
144. We must obey the Lord.”

After killing their first lamb, Adam and Eve do not feel good at all! We read:

182. Adam said, “Lord, ever since we killed the Lamb, Eve and I have felt great anguish!
183. We feel terrible!
184. Can you help us feel better?”
185. Lucifer smiled, then spoke: “You feel inner torment because you did not fully carry out my command.
186. Also, this was your first kill and you are not yet used to it.
187. Once you have become used to it, it will become a great joy!
188. Lo: it is great play!
189. Yea, it is called hunting!
190. And I am the spiritual father of all hunters!

191. “And you are greatly blessed; for of all the creatures in the Garden, you have become the first hunters.
192. Yea, the first blood is on your hands!

193. “And I will heal you of your inner torment.
194. Behold: I will teach you to take great pleasure in hunting!
195. Your heart will beat fast in anticipation of the kill!
196. You will take delight in sneaking up slowly behind your victim, or hiding behind a bush in ambush!
197. And your mouth will salivate in anticipation of the taste of your victim’s flesh!”

Nasareans are not only vegetarians – it is required for membership – but we also do not fish or hunt. After all, Lucifer is the “spiritual father of all hunters.”

In the following passage, we can see that Lucifer took the killing of animals to an even darker, even more cruel stage, a stage of downright evil satanism that sent ripples of discordant vibrations throughout the garden:

198. “But before you can eat the flesh of this Lamb, you need become a bit more dense.
199. And that will be accomplished by more killing, which also will heal your inner torment.”

200. Lucifer instructed Adam and Eve to make more spears.
201. He then pointed to some deer eating grass in a meadow and said, “Behold: a mother deer and her fawn.
202. Kill the fawn first, then the mother.
203. But before you kill the mother, make certain that she sees the death of her fawn.”

204. Adam and Eve killed the deer, first the fawn then the mother.
205. Then they killed other animals according to the will of Lucifer.
206. At first the killing was hard; but then it became easier; and by the end of the day, Adam declared: “Hunting is fun!
207. It makes me feel powerful”.
208. But Eve said, “I do not like it.
209. It feels wrong within me.”

If you have read the mainstream Bible account of Adam and Eve, the following verses will sound somewhat familiar though far more information is given here:

210. Lucifer, hearing the words of Adam and Eve, declared: “Adam, you are stronger than Eve because I made you in my own image and likeness.
211. Eve is weaker because I made her from one of your ribs.
212. I made her to be your servant.
213. Yea, she is not your equal.
214. Because you are stronger, you must rule over her.
215. Her purpose in life is to serve me by serving you.
216. She must serve you as though you were me, the Lord God, and you must serve me.
217. If you serve me, you will be a good example for her.
218. Yea, and a good example for the children you will make with Eve.

219. “Behold: you need her to make children that can be raised to do my will.
220. Now, cut into pieces the doe, and taste your first flesh!
221. After you have both eaten you will make a baby that will be dedicated unto me, the Lord God.
222. For I am Yahweh.”

223. Adam ate the flesh, and blood ran down his cheek.
224. Because of the killing, his body was now dense enough to eat flesh.
225. Eve also ate the flesh.
226. Though she had not felt right about the killing, she had obeyed the voice of Lucifer and killed many creatures.
227. Yea, blood was also on her hands and her body had become dense enough to eat flesh, though not as dense as Adam’s; for, Adam had enjoyed the killing, but Eve had not.
228. But with the eating of flesh, Eve’s body became as dense as Adam’s.
229. And so it was that Adam and Eve put on the bodies of animals.”

A couple of comments on the above verses. Verses 228 and 229 make clear that the mainstream Bible story of Adam and Eve “putting on the skins of animals” was not simply a reference to clothes. It means that they became so dense that they fell from their ethereal bodies into meat bodies like animals. THAT MY FRIENDS WAS THE TRUE ‘FALL OF MAN’.

I also want to comment on verses 210 to 219 where Lucifer, after hearing Eve tell Adam that the killing of animals felt wrong to her – and having heard Adam say he liked it – declared that Eve was not to have equal rights with Adam. He said that she was made to be his servant. Compare those verses with the following words of Apostle Paul from the mainstream New Testament.

In First Corinthians, Chapter 11, Paul declares:

“Be imitators of me…. I commend you because you remember me in everything…. But I want you to understand that while the head of every man is Christ, the head of every woman is her husband…. And any woman who prays with her head uncovered dishonors her husband; if a woman will not cover her head with a veil, then her hair should be shaved off…. For a man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man….

Neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. That is why a woman ought to have a veil on her head, as a sign of submission to her husband that all men and angels will see….

“And if anyone disagrees with me about his, they must be told to obey; for nothing else is acceptable in churches of God.”

Similarly, Paul declares in Chapter 5 of Ephesians:

“Wives be subject to your husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife in the same way that Christ is the head of the church. As the church is subject to Christ, so must wives be subject to their husbands in everything.”

If you think the above words of Paul are not only egotistical — “Be imitators of me” — but also brand him as a male chauvinist, hold onto your hats (especially you women in church!); IT GETS WORSE! In Chapter 14 of First Corinthians, Paul writes:

“In all Christian churches, the women should keep silent whenever in church. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be subordinate…. If there is anything they desire to know, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church….

“If anyone thinks he is a prophet or spiritual, he must acknowledge that what I am writing to you is true and from the Lord God.”

Well, folks, those are the words of the Apostle Paul in the mainstream Bible, a book, I am happy to say, we do not use! ☺ Just think what the world would be like if people raised their children on that kind of crap?…. Well, I suppose it would be like the one we are living in! ☺

The main reason to introduce Paul in this book on vegetarianism is that he was the main opponent to vegetarianism in early Christianity.  In his Epistle called “Romans”, Paul wrote:

“… he whose faith is weak eats only vegetables…. For meat destroys not the work of God.”

Later, after Paul had led an outright schism against the “old Apostles” (i.e. against those who had actually known, walked with, and been trained by Jesus), he went so far as to call vegetarianism a doctrine “taught by demons”. In 1st Timothy, Paul declared:

“The spirit clearly warned me that in latter times some would abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through hypocritical liars… commanding people to abstain from meats, which God created to be eaten with thanksgiving…. For every animal created by God is good for eating, and none are to be refused if received with Thanksgiving.”

Paul has asserted that those whose “faith is weak eat only vegetables” and that “every animal created by God is good for eating”. He has even gone so far as to call vegetarianism a doctrine taught by “hypocritical liars” and “demons”. QUESTION: Does Paul consider Jesus to be a “hypocritical liar” or “demon”? For, both forms of Christianity that existed when Paul came on the scene twenty years after the crucifixion (Paul was a child at the time of the crucifixion and never met Jesus), the original Nasarean Christianity and Peter’s Ebionite Christianity, taught vegetarianism and made clear that the doctrine was straight from the lips of Jesus. (Peter permitted fish-eating, Nasareans did not.)

I will now share a scholarly excerpt that demonstrates that early Christianity was mostly vegetarian until Paul came along and took control. In Keith Akers book The Lost Religion of Jesus, we read:

The “orthodox” response to vegetarianism has been somewhat contradictory since the Council of Nicaea. The objection to meat consumption and the killing of animals has been taken as evidence of heresy when Christians have been faced with outsiders.  When the Catholics attacked the Albigensian heresy [Day: the Cathars in France] in the middle ages, they would give suspected heretics some animals to kill, and if the suspects refused, they were determined to be heretics.

This rejection of vegetarianism goes hand in hand, however, with a peculiar Christian embrace of vegetarianism – an embrace that is unmistakable and difficult to explain if the “orthodox” rejection of vegetarianism were really the original tradition.

Vegetarianism met with a kinder reception among early Christian leaders and the monastic communities. Indeed, a list of those described as vegetarians reads very much like a Who’s Who in the early church: Peter (Recognitions 7.6, Homilies 12.6), James (Eusebius, Ecclesiastical History  2.23), Matthew (Clement of Alexandria, The Instructor 2.1), and all the apostles (Eusebius, Proof of the Gospel 3.5). Clement of Alexandria, Origen, Basil, Gregory of Nanziance, Arnobius, Cassian, the Desert Fathers, Antony, Hilarion, Macharius, Columbanus, Arsenius, John Chrysostom, Jerome, and Tertullian were all probably vegetarians, based on writings by or about them.  ….

Augustine, while strongly arguing against any requirement that Christians be vegetarians, comments that the number of Christians who abstain… from flesh are “without number” – indicating a widespread acceptance of vegetarianism among ordinary Christians even as late as the fourth century.

Eusebius recounts the story of a Christian martyr, a woman who initially denies under torture that she is a Christian. But when she is encouraged to make incriminating statements about the Christians, for example that they eat their own children, she reverses herself:

“But she recovered herself under the suffering, and . . .  contradicted the blasphemers.  ‘How,’ she said, ‘could those eat children who do not think it lawful to taste the blood even of irrational animals?”  And thenceforward she confessed herself a Christian . . .  (Ecclesiastical History 5.1.26)

The conclusion is inescapable that she understands Christian nonviolence to include animals as well as humans: Christians would not eat their own children, for they do not even eat animals.

In fact, there are hardly any references to any early Christians eating meat.  The view that Jesus ate meat creates a paradox: vegetarianism was practiced by the apostles and numerous early followers of Jesus, including Jesus’ own brother ….  The much more likely explanation is that the original tradition was vegetarian, but that under the pressure of expediency and the popularity of Paul’s writings… vegetarianism was first dropped as a requirement ….

I went on the ‘Paul tangent’ toward the end of my sharing of the Nasarean Book of Adam and Eve. Recall that Lucifer had succeeded in his plan to get Adam and Eve to taint the Garden of Eden by killing and eating animals. Well, that ‘fall’ into flesh eating opened the door to all sorts of hellish things. We read:

255. Then Lucifer whispered in the ear of Adam how he was to take Eve and make her pregnant: “Hold her down and take her; you are stronger than her and need not ask permission.

256. If you force her rather than ask her, the baby you make will be stronger.”

257. So it was that Adam took Eve by the hair and pulled her to him.
258. He then held her down and entered her, asking not for permission and listening not to her words.
259. And this was very different from when Adam and Eve had made love in the center of the Garden….

262. Lo: the floodgates were now open.
263. With the killing of animals and the rape of Eve, many dark souls were attracted to this world….
264. Some of these dark souls came to incarnate so that they could kill and eat flesh.
265. Others came to hover disembodied, feeding on emotional pain like parasites.

In regard to the sort of parasites referred to in verse 265, the Megillah provides additional information:

130. Behold: The Downward Spiral always exists as a possibility; but now, on this world, as in many other worlds, The Downward Spiral was an actuality.
131. And, lo: at the moment it was made manifest, many thousands of demonic entities of various types flocked to this world, some with bodies some disembodied.

132. Some of the disembodied were called Pain Suckers; for they feed on the emotional pain of other Beings.
133. And all Pain Suckers are of the family called Parasites.
134. The most dangerous of the Suckers are those called Pain Farmers; for they plant seeds of discord in order to increase their harvest of pain.

135. Yea, they teach the art of weapon making and encourage warfare and a thousand other evil things.
136. And they do this by whispering in the minds of not only their willing servants, but even their unsuspecting hosts.
137. For, the unsuspecting host thinks the demonic suggestion whispered in his mind is his own idea.
138. And Abdiel [the First Nasarean Essene Priest on our planet] perceived how the demons were able to enter the bodies of their unsuspecting hosts: Although the laws of nature work against demonic possession (for, no entity should be able to enter the Beytsah haAur – Ovum of Light – of another without permission) the demons found that they could slow the vibration of, and thereby weaken, the Magen haAur, the Shield of Light, of creatures by getting them to eat flesh.

139. Yea, the demons found that they could pierce the Light Shield of creatures who fell from the fleshless diet to a diet of flesh; and once they entered the Light Ovum, behold: they could enter even the physical body of the unsuspecting host.
140. And by entering the body of a host, lo, the demons gain two things: One, they may now whisper in the mind of their host; Two, they may experience vicarious thrills through the sense organs of their host.

141. Abdiel also perceived the remedy for this great evil: A return to the fleshless diet.
142. For, once a Being rejects the flesh diet of the demons, the demons are forced to flee.
143. Yea, the demons are forced to flee because, according to Jah Law, they cannot be within the Light Ovum of any creature who eats not the flesh of other creatures.
144. The eggs or milk of other creatures may be eaten without fear of demonic possession, yea, and the vegetables, grains, and fruits of nature, but not the flesh of another creature.

145. And Abdiel perceived that on many worlds the Pain Farmers had subverted the fleshless diets of creatures and thereby planted seeds of pain that grew into mighty crops….

The following excerpt from the Nasarean Book of Adam and Eve makes it clear that the violence of Adam and Eve spread throughout the Garden of Eden:

275. Now, when Adam and Eve had begun killing animals in the Garden, the atmosphere of the Garden was changed.
276. The murderous deeds had released noxious fumes that could not be seen but could be felt.
277. Whereas there had been no fear in the Garden, now fear spread throughout the Garden.

278. Yea, some animals began to kill and eat other animals, and those that did not kill began to fear those that did kill.

279. And the atmosphere was now much more dense; thus, all the bodies of animals and plants had become more dense in order to adapt.
280. Lo: this made it possible for Adam and Eve to get near the center of the Garden.
281. But they could no longer enter the center.

Despite their initial fall into flesh eating via the lies and trickery of Lucifer, it is good to know that Adam and Eve went on to repent and returned to the vegetarian diet. We read:

285. Adam put the dead body of the Lamb beneath his head to serve as a pillow.
286. That night, Adam dreamed many dreams: He saw the animals he had killed; they crowded around a throne and upon the throne was a Lamb.
287. And the animals were angry, and petitioned the Lamb for justice.
288. And as Adam looked into the eyes of each animal, he saw in their eyes the fear and hatred he had caused.
289. Lo: as each animal testified before the Lamb on the throne, Adam was forced to watch his killing of that animal; lo, he felt the unspeakable terror that each of his victims had felt.
290. And after all the animals had testified, the Lamb on the throne pointed to the hole in His chest, which was from the spear of Adam and Eve, for this was the first creature that had been slain by Adam and Eve….

Picking up in a Chapter titled, The Repentance of Adam and Eve, we read:

70. After hearing the testimony of Abdiel, Adam shed tears of sincere regret for his misdeeds.
71. For, Abdiel and Eve helped Adam to eat a fruit of the Tree of Life, which was the fruit of Repentance.
72. Yea, Repentance is a fruit of the mating of Love and Wisdom, and Adam’s heart and mind had both been opened.

73. Lo: Adam felt sincere sorrow and regret for his misdeeds and wished to change his behavior from bad to good.
74. And he listened to the voice of the Lamb within; but rather than hear words of condemnation as he had feared, lo: he heard words of forgiveness.

75. And Adam was baptized in Living Water.
76. And the Dove came and sat upon his head.
77. Lo: She sang songs of the Tree of Life.
78. And Adam listened.
79. And he sang in response.

80. Yea, both Adam and Eve received Abdiel as their Yaiyr, their Enlightener and Priest King.
81. Lo: under the guidance of Abdiel, Adam and Eve performed Sevenfold Repentance.
82. Yea, from the holy hands of Abdiel, they received Baptism.

Dear Reader, it likely will not surprise you to hear that the Nasarean ritual of baptism is linked to a required pledge of vegetarianism.

It is also good to know that demonic entities cannot pierce the aura and enter the body of vegetarians! ☺

And since few of us were vegetarians from birth, it is good to know that any demonic entities that were inside – or whispering in the mind of – a non-vegetarian must flee if that person becomes vegetarian.

Need I say More? Maybe not, but I will! ☺

Also in the Megillah, we read:

13. Adam, in his repentance from being the first human to eat flesh, became the first and greatest farmer.
14. Yea, he mastered the art of farming so that he could teach people to eat without killing animals, for, once Kush fell, the fruit of the trees was not enough to feed the dense bodies of the less ethereal atmosphere.

15. And when Lucifer learned that Adam, whom he had taught to hunt animals, was now a farmer, he mocked, saying: “If Adam would have remained a hunter, he would not now be breaking his back farming the ground!”
16. But Adam loved farming and never again desired to hunt or eat the flesh of animals.

Eve’s words of repentance were as follows:

1. Eve had not slept that night.
2. She lay awake for many hours considering her deadly deeds.
3. She felt true sorrow and contrition; yea, she wept many tears as she remembered the faces of the animals she had helped Adam kill.
4. Eve declared, “Even if it means that the Lord God will kill me with his staff, I will never kill again.
5. I repent of all killing.
6. Yea, I would rather die than kill.
7. And never again will I eat the flesh of an animal.”

The other significant ‘Nasarean Old Testament’ teaching on Nasarean Vegetarianism that I will share before turning to the ‘Nasarean New Testament’ teachings of Yahshua and Miriam is the Nasarean version of The Ten Commandments of Moses:

The Ten Commandments of the Nasarean Essene Book of Moses

15. “Hear me, oh Yisra’el, if you would have joy in your life, and abundant blessings, rather than pain and misery, keep these commandments.

16. 1) Within the One YHWH is both God and Goddess; wherefore, worship both the Father God and Mother Goddess, that you be centered in the All.

17. 2) Within the creation is a spark of the Creator; wherefore, know yourself.

18. 3) Within every creature is a spark of the Creator; wherefore, respect all living things in the manner that you respect yourself.

19. 4) YHWH desires that all creatures live in nonviolent cooperation; wherefore, walk softly on Mother Earth, seek nonviolence, and make no laws that conflict with the Way of YHWH.

20. 5) YHWH does not sanction violent warfare; wherefore, any religion, scripture, or prophet that declares otherwise, either lies or is in ignorance, and should not be obeyed.

21. 6) You shall not kill any creature for pleasure, nor for profit, nor for food.

22. 7) You may eat the milk and eggs of animals that are well cared for, but know this: These foods are for this world only; for, in the lower heavens the Cherubim eat but fruit, and in the higher heavens they eat only heavenly essences.

23. 8) You shall cultivate honesty within yourself and in every relationship.

24. 9) You shall forgive yourself when you stumble, and likewise forgive others their shortcomings.

25. 10) Love YHWH within and around you, and love every creature as yourself; for, lo: Love is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and none find YHWH except by Love.

Notice that the lead-in sentence (verse 15) declares that following the Ten Commandments results in “JOY IN YOUR LIFE AND ABUNDANT BLESSINGS” in place of pain and misery. The teaching is that  by doing good to other creatures, good things – BLESSINGS – will come YOUR WAY! This is, of course, the principle of KARMA, which can be expressed in ‘street-lingo’ as: ‘What goes around, comes around.’

The third commandment is very ‘Ahimsa-ish’:

3) Within every creature is a spark of the Creator; wherefore, respect all living things in the manner that you respect yourself.

The fourth commandment is also very ‘Ahimsa-ish’:

4) YHWH desires that all creatures live in nonviolent cooperation; wherefore, walk softly on Mother Earth, seek nonviolence, and make no laws that conflict with the Way of YHWH.

And the Sixth Commandment specifically refers to vegetarianism:

6) You shall not kill any creature for pleasure, nor for profit, nor for food.

In Commandment Seven we learn that the Nasarean Essene religion requires basic vegetarianism for membership but does not require veganism (no animal products such as eggs or dairy). However, one can choose to be a vegan; it simply is not required. Later I will share with you the quotations of the Lord Christ Yahshua and the Lady Christ Miriam in which they make vegetarianism a condition of becoming their disciple.
