Introduction to the Essene Teachings

by Day of Greenleaf, High Priest (Yaiyr) of our Essene Church, Chief Translator and First Publisher of The Holy Megillah: Nasarean Bible of the Essene Way, author of over a dozen books on our teachings.

In this section, I will present over twenty of the KEY TEACHINGS of our Nasarean Religion of the Essene Way. For each key teaching, I will first present a very brief mini-article — a several paragraph ‘In a Nutshell’ statement — on the topic, then will provide one or more (usually more) links to videos of myself and/or other members of our church speaking on the topic, and will offer clickable longer articles on the topic. Down below on the left hand side, you will find the list of key teachings in the order that I will present them.

Most of the videos in this section are portions of longer videos of full Essene Church Services. Those full services often have more than one talk and cover more than one topic and include a lot of Song Circles and other music that we do not include here. Here, I have pulled out only the talks that pertain to our Key Teaching topics. Those full services are provided in a section of this webpage devoted to ‘Essene Church Services on Video’.

Most of the art that graces the covers of my books as well as this webpage is done by two of my longest term co-workers, Priestess Terese, a talented professional artist and one of our best public speakers, and the multi-talented Omni – my co-worker of nearly four decades,  the lead singer of the band that typically ends our monthly live Essene Church Service on Zoom with an animated (by her) ‘spiritual rock and roll’ song by her band Sunheart. That band includes her husband, David Sunheart, on guitar. Contact us for the link to watch our live Essene Church services on zoom.

THE FIRST KEY ESSENE TEACHING THAT WE WILL FOCUS ON IS THAT OF GOD AND GODDESS, the Sacred Dance of the Masculine and Feminine Principles. The Nasarean Essene teachings make clear that God and Goddess are far too transcendental to be accurately drawn by human hand and certainly do not look like humans. Even so, as do the Taoists, the ancient and modern Nasarean Church of the Essene Way uses the Yin-Yang symbol as an illustration to represent not only God and Goddess, but also the Divine Masculine Christ and Divine Feminine Christ, and also to symbolize the Divine Masculine Principle and Divine Feminine Principle expressed throughout all of Creation,

Thus, the artwork that graces the top of the first page of this Introduction to the ‘Our Teachings’ section is an appropriately Nasarean version of – if you examine it closely – the Yin-Yang symbol, and will serve as our illustration for the general principle of Gender Equality, the Dance of the Divine Masculine and the Divine Feminine. The above artwork is by Priestess Terese and is from the front cover painting she did for my book titled, Sacred Sex: Magdalene’s Teachings on Essene Tantra, available with over a dozen of my other books in the ‘store’ section of this webpage. In the video list related to Key Teaching One below, I include a link to view a talk by Priestess Terese on Sacred Symbology that includes her own description of the symbology in the illustration at the top of this page.

I will now provide Key Teaching One on the topic of God and Goddess in the Essene Teachings. As will be the format throughout this section of the webpage devoted to ‘OUR TEACHINGS’, I will first provide a ‘nutshell’ (the least you need to know) several paragraph or so statement (a concise mini-article) directly below and then will list links to longer articles, as well as links to video talks on this topic, even links to listen to Essene songs on this topic (in this case, mantra-like songs based on the devotional singing of the Nasarean Essene names of God (Jah) and Goddess (Jahlah).

Key Teaching #1

GOD (Jah) and GODDESS (Jahlah) and
The First Holy Trinity

By Day of Greenleaf, the Founding Yaiyr

In a nutshell:

We believe in a Holy Trinity that is symbolized by the Triangle to the right of these words in which the Top Point represents YAH(Yah is neither Masculine nor Feminine but is the gender neutral “Spiritual Crown” and Source Point – Undifferentiated Being or ‘ISNESS’) – from which, for the purpose of Creation, emanates the Divine Masculine Ray (JAH, the Divine Father), symbolized by the Right Point at the base of the triangle (‘right’ here being from the viewpoint of the viewer), and also emanates the Divine Feminine Ray, (JAHLAH, the Divine Mother), symbolized by the Left Point at the base of the triangle.

So, in a nutshell, we believe in both God (Divine Father Jah) and Goddess (Divine Mother Jahlah), both of whom are Centered and Crowned by GENDERLESS ISSNESS called YAH. Think of Yah as pure SPIRIT. Pure SPIRIT is neither masculine nor feminine but emanated the Divine Masculine (Divine Father Jah) and the Divine Feminine (Divine Mother Jahlah) to form with them the First Holy Creative Trinity, symbolized by the above triangle.

As will be made clear in the longer articles and videos you are about to be given the links for, EACH SOUL IS CREATED IN THE EMBRYONIC IMAGE AND LIKENESS OF THIS FIRST HOLY TRINITY. As a soul rises on the Spiral Ladder of Being – passing through progressively higher heavenly realms via reincarnation in the context of SPIRITUAL EVOLUTION – the soul takes on more of the ‘Image and Likeness’ of its Creator. Each soul is like an acorn created in the embryonic Image and Likeness of the Oak Tree, destined to unfold via spiritual evolution.

That process is called ENLIGHTENMENT and all of our Essene Nasarean teachings – everything in this whole section on ‘Our Teachings’ – is intended to promote the enlightenment of every person who becomes a committed disciple of the Lord Christ and Lady Christ in the context of the Nasarean Religion of the Essene Way. This religion is based on The Holy Megillah: Nasarean Bible of the Essene Way, which itself will be the subject of one of the Key Teachings presented in this section of our webpage.

This ends the ‘Nutshell’ explanation of our teaching on God (Jah) and Goddess (Jahlah) and The First Holy Trinity. I now offer you two links to longer articles I (Day of Greenleaf) have written on this topic. The first link takes you to an article titled, Teachings of Magdalene on God, Goddess, and the Holy Trinity. That article features excerpts from a couple of Magdalene’s sermons on Essene Tantra and the Creative Trinity. The second link below is by far the most in-depth look at our teachings on God and Goddess. That article is titled: Doctrine Six of The Essene Book of Doctrines: Essene Teachings on God and Goddess.

The Co-Messiahship of the LORD CHRIST and LADY CHRIST

By Day of Greenleaf, the Founding Yaiyr

Not only are we the variety of Christianity that believes in both a God (Divine Father Jah) AND A GODDESS (Divine Mother Jahlah), we are also the only one that believes in both a male Christ AND A FEMALE CHRIST.

As explained in detail in the lengthier articles that I will provide links to below, both the Lord Christ and the Lady Christ have been in existence since long before the creation of our solar system. The heavenly name of the Lord Christ is JAHDAY, and he incarnated on Earth as YAHSHUA, whose name came into English as ‘Jesus’. He was never called ‘Jesus’ during his lifetime; that name is a mixture of Greek and English. The heavenly name of the Lady Christ is JAHNAH, and she incarnated on earth as MIRIAM THE MAGDALENE, know in English as ‘Mary Magdalene’.

Our Nasarean Church of the Essene Way follows the teachings of the Lord Christ and Lady Christ. Those teachings are provided in our version of the Bible which is called: The Holy Megillah: Nasarean Bible of the Essene Way.

Key Teaching #3

Reincarnation, Heaven, and Hell

By Day of Greenleaf, the Founding Yaiyr

Our church believes that there are countless heavenly realms and countless hellish realms, not just one of each. We believe that the entire universe is a Cosmic School System for souls and that, aware of it or not, we are all enrolled in that school. The universe is so vast that, as we rise on the Spiral Ladder of Being, we advance to progressively higher heavenly realms. If we ‘flunk’ we can fall down the Spiral Ladder of Being and experience a more ‘hellish’ realm.

This ‘rising’ and ‘falling’ on the Spiral Ladder of Being is made possible by reincarnation. Rather than believe the mainstream Christian concept that, based on one lifetime, God will either send us to the only heavenly realm or send us to hell to burn for eternity, we believe that, like a typical school, there are many ‘grades’, many levels, many realms. After ‘First Grade’ comes ‘Second Grade’ and so on, right on up to ‘Cosmic College’.

We believe that the goal of reincarnation is to eventually reach such a high level of spiritual evolution that we attain angelic bodies than need not die and be reborn and thus are no longer required to reincarnate to move on to the next level of the Cosmic School System. Even once we no longer need to die and be reborn, we may choose to reincarnate to serve as helpers in lower realms.

Though we can rise or fall on the Spiral Ladder of Being, the overall tendency is to rise since the universe is based on spiritual evolution.

Below you may click on links to lengthier articles on our teachings on Reincarnation, Heaven, and Hell. Those articles include much more information, as well as lengthy excerpts of the teachings of the Lord Christ and Lady Christ on this topic. We also provide videos of our Priests and Priestesses speaking on this topic.

History and Current Remanifestation of the Nasarean Church of the Essene Way, also known as Essene Church of Christ.

By Day of Greenleaf, the Founding Yaiyr

In the lengthier articles that follow this ‘nutshell’ introduction to this Key Teaching Four, I (Day of Greenleaf) will describe a bit of history in regard to the ancient Nasarean Essenes and also tell the story of how I came to found a modern version of this ancient spiritual fellowship.

In brief, the ancient Nasarean Essenes were, we believe, the most ancient form of Judaism  and went on to become the very first version of Christianity.

Nasarean Essene Judaism was very different than mainstream Judaism, using a different version of the Jewish Bible that they, the Nasareans, according to the ancient writer Epiphanius, considered to be far more ancient and authentic. Unlike the mainstream Jewish Torah, the Nasarean religion, as described by Epiphanius almost two thousand years ago, had no animal sacrifice rituals. In fact, as described by Epiphanius, the Nasarean version of the Bible not only condemned animal sacrifice, but taught vegetarianism.

As we learn in The Holy Megillah: Nasarean Bible of the Essene Way (the Bible used by our church and available on this webpage), another key difference between Nasarean Judaism and mainstream Judaism was that the Nasareans permitted women to be in the priesthood and upheld the equality of men and women, going so far as to teach that there is both a Father God AND A MOTHER GODDESS.

The Nasarean form of Judaism believed that there would come to Earth not only a male Christ Messiah, but also a female Christ Messiah. Over two-thousand years ago, those ancient Nasarean Jews accepted Yahshua (‘Jesus’) and Miriam (‘Mary’ Magdalene) as the fulfillment of their ancient prophecies of a Lord Christ and Lady Christ that would, together, be co-messiahs. At that point, Nasarean Judaism became Nasarean Christianity, because ‘Christians’ are ‘followers of Christ’. Our modern Nasarean Church of the Essene Way, also called Essene Church of Christ, are devotees of both the Lord Christ and Lady Christ.

The Significance of Vegetarianism in the Nasarean Religion of the Essene Way

By Day of Greenleaf, the Founding Yaiyr

I, Day of Greenleaf, a few months before I now write these words, published my twelfth book on the Nasarean Essene Religion. That book is titled Vegetarian Teachings of Essene Jesus and Magdalene. In the lengthier articles (links are provided to those articles in this section of this webpage) on this Nasarean vegetarianism topic, I will provide long excerpts from my new (in 2025) book. Even if you are reading these words long after 2025, the key topic of that book, the form of Dietary Ahimsa practiced and taught by Yahushua (‘Jesus’) and Miriam (‘Mary’ Magdalene), never becomes outdated. It is about the ‘Spiritual Ethics’ linked with the practice of murdering animals to eat their bodies. If I were asked to name the number one health and spiritual practice of the Nasarean Religion of the Essene Way, my answer: SPIRITUALLY MOTIVATED VEGETARIANISM. I end this brief ‘nutshell’ article by encouraging you to read the offered links to the lengthier articles that include the story of how I became a vegetarian at age seventeen in the aftermath of the killing of our family pig for meat fifty years ago, and conclude now by providing you with just one saying on vegetarianism from the Lord Christ Yahshua and then one from the Lady Christ Miriam. Many more sayings from them – and from other Nasarean Essene spiritual teachers including Moses – are provided in the offered lengthier articles. Now I offer those two quotations.

Yahshua’s Teaching on Ahimsa

In his Sermon on Essene Yoga, Yahshua gave the following teaching on Ahimsa.
  1. “Restraint from violence in thoughts, words, and deeds; in Sanskrit: Ahimsa.
  2. For example, when you restrain yourself from eating animals, you are practicing Ahimsa – nonviolence – toward animals.
  1. “Ahimsa is a progressive process in nonviolent living and results in progressive ascension in heavenly consciousness.
  2. Think of it as climbing the spiral ladder of nonviolence since absolute harmlessness is not achieved in human incarnation.
  3. Even so, we can challenge ourselves, as yogis and yoginis, to immediately restrain ourselves from grosser acts of violence such as killing and eating animals, warfare, slavery, and, over time, make steady progress on the less obvious ones.
  1. “Less obvious than throwing a punch or hitting a person with a club are your violent words and thoughts.
  2. So, not only does a Nasarean Yogi practice restraint from violence by abstaining from the obvious things like killing animals for food or pleasure and participation in the military, but also the less obvious things.”
  1. “Yea, I tell you truly, those that are kind to all creatures need not fear their own futures.
  2. The reverse is also true!
  3. And that is precisely why I have spoken so strongly on this topic today, even at risk of seeming rude, even at risk of being attacked.
  4. I want to shock you enough that you might drop flesh-eating and so avoid the ‘hell-vibes’ associated with the extremely ‘un-heavenly’ act of murdering animals so as to steal their bodies from their souls.
  5. And remember this: eating animals slows down your Shield of Light and enables negative entities to influence you in various ways!
  6. Need I say more?”
Key Teaching #6

The Rejection of Magdalene and the Divine Feminine by Peter, Paul, and Their Mainstream Form of Christianity

By Day of Greenleaf, the Founding Yaiyr

Our Nasarean Church of the Essene Way – also called Essene Church of Christ – is clearly not a part of what can correctly be called, ‘Mainstream Christianity’. We believe that the founders of our form of Christianity are the Lord Christ Yahshua and the Lady Christ Miriam the Magdalene. We believe that the true founders of mainstream Christianity are the false apostles Peter and Paul.

Peter and Paul fought against Nasarean Christianity for several reasons, but the biggest reason was that they were both opposed to the Nasarean teaching that there was not only a Father God (Jah) and a Lord Christ (Yahshua), but also a Mother Goddess (Jahlah) and a Lady Christ (Miriam the Magdalene).

As will be shown in detail in the lengthier articles linked to Key Teaching Six, Peter and Paul were the two major early opponents of Nasarean Christianity, throwing out not only the Divine Feminine and equal rights for women, but also cutting out the Nasarean condemnation of slavery and cutting out the practice of vegetarianism.

The true story of Peter – he worked with Judas to help cause the crucifixion of the Lord – and of Paul – he was a member of the secret police and worked for the Romans – is told in the pages of The Holy Megillah: Nasarean Bible of the Essene Way. The linked articles will go into the nitty-gritty details,

The Seven Great Spiritual Realizations

By Day of Greenleaf, the Founding Yaiyr

One of the most important teachings of Yahshua, the Lord Christ, is on ‘Seven Great Spiritual Realizations’. Below I provide a list of those seven realizations as a ‘nutshell’ introduction to them.

But I urge you to read the approximately fifty-page article on this topic by clicking on the link that will immediately follow this simple listing of the seven realizations.

 THE ‘NUTSHELL’ LIST:
SEVEN GREAT SPIRITUAL REALIZATIONS
ACCORDING TO YAHSHUA

1) THE FIRST GREAT REALIZATION is the realization of Self as spirit; Spirit is I Am; this realization is linked to answering the question ‘Who am I?’ and is also called ‘The I AM Realization’.

2) THE SECOND GREAT REALIZATION is: Consciousness is fluid, not frozen; it rises and falls, expands and contracts; this is the realization that our level of consciousness is not frozen on The Ladder of Consciousness and leads, upon self-observation, to the third realization.

3) THE THIRD GREAT REALIZATION is: Our level of consciousness rises or falls not by chance, but according to Universal Law; we realize that what we put out, we get back: as we sow, so shall we reap; we notice, by observing the fluctuations in our level of consciousness, that the elevations and dips in that level are linked to our behavior, are linked to our degree of harmony with the laws of the universe; are liked to our thoughts, words, and deeds.

4) THE FOURTH GREAT REALIZATION is: At any time after The First Great Realization, one may experience the fourth. The Fourth Great Realization is called, ‘We Are’. Once one knows ‘I Am’, let him discover ‘We Are.’ For, there are countless sentient Beings in Yah, all deserving respect. One who affirms ‘I Am’ but not ‘We Are’ is experienced by others as egotistical. It is good to recognize Yah within ourselves, but we must also recognize Yah within others.

5) THE FIFTH GREAT REALIZATION is: God/Goddess Realization.

Only after consistently acting on The Great Decision – the decision to dedicate oneself to being in progressively greater harmony with universal spiritual laws – for some time, and thus rising on The Ladder of Consciousness, will one truly know God and Goddess. Until then, one has but a collection of opinions and beliefs, some true, some false.

While no one can know the entirety of God and Goddess, one who experiences the Mahazeh Gedolah, the Great Revelation, is called God Realized. Whenever one knows Jah-Jah and Elohim by virtue of the direct experience of the Mahazeh Gedolah, one has attained The Fifth Great Realization. That realization is called, ‘God Realization’, and leads directly to The Sixth Great Realization.

6) THE SIXTH GREAT REALIZATION is: The Revelation of Divine Grace. This is the realization of The Gracious Gift, the gift of being, wherein we realize that we came into being as an act of grace, according to The Creative Wish. Though we number this the sixth realization, it occurs whenever it occurs, not necessarily according to any listed sequence….

With The Revelation of Divine Grace comes the experience of The Great Humility. At the time of The Great Humility, one dedicates oneself fully as a servant of Jah-Jah and Elohim in a new and powerful way, not due to hope for eternal life, yea, and not to earn eternal life, but in joyous response to The Gracious Gift that is eternal life. Now one is motivated by pure love for the Creator in the heavenly bliss of The Great Appreciation. Now one may join in the heavenly chorus that is the Creative Enchantment, which is the ever-ongoing Creative Wish, the mantra of YHWH: ‘Let Being expand, now in forever, amen!’ And this great love for Yah gives birth to a great love for the creation of Yah, yea, and a desire to serve Yah by serving all of creation.

And if we act on that love, we will experience The Seventh Great Realization.

7) THE SEVENTH GREAT REALIZATION is: Realization of our True Work. That ‘Work’ is linked with The Mantra of the Christ Family, also called The Healing Enchantment, which is: ‘Let there be ever-expanding well-being for all Beings in the highest Love, now in forever, amen!’

This realization is The Magic Key to the Highest Heaven.

Our ‘SADHANA’ (‘Spiritual Practices’) are Linked to Essene Yoga of the Essene Tree of Life

By Day of Greenleaf, the Founding Yaiyr

Each participant in the Nasarean Religion of The Essene Way is encouraged to do more than simply become a member of our church; each member is encouraged to become a lifelong student of, and practitioner of, our ‘spiritual practice’. The Sanskrit word for ‘spiritual practice’ is sadhana. Yahshua (‘Jesus’) and Miriam (‘Mary’ Magdalene) each spent seven years in India and, upon their return to Israel, included a number of Sanskrit words in their teachings.

By the term ‘sadhana’ or ‘spiritual practice’, we mean ‘yoga’ or ‘true religion’. I will explain.

Yoga is a Sanskrit word that means union and implies two things: 1) The conscious union of a being with the Ultimate; and, 2) The means – practices – by which that union is realized.

Number one above is both the goal of yoga and the living experience of those that achieve that goal. Number two above is whatever we do that enables us to achieve that goal. Any system practiced by a being for the purpose of realizing conscious union with the ultimate is a yoga system.

All spiritual masters teach a system of yoga, a way of realizing conscious union with God, whether or not they use the Sanskrit term yoga. Moses taught yoga. Buddha taught yoga. Jesus (Yahshua) taught yoga. Yoga is true religion. Consider the word religion. The lig portion of the word religion stems from the Latin root ligare, which means union/connect. When a being has fallen out of conscious union with God, that being needs a re-union, a re-ligare (‘re-ligion’). The goal of true religion is conscious union with the Ultimate (yoga), and the means by which that goal is realized are the various yoga systems taught by spiritual masters.

When most American’s hear the word ‘yoga’, they immediately think of the variety called ‘Hatha Yoga’. That is the variety based on physical postures and meditative breathing. However, in India, Hatha Yoga is only one part of a larger set of yoga practices that also includes spiritual practices intended to bring the practitioner into conscious union with the ‘Ultimate’. By the word ‘Ultimate’ is meant the highest aspect of Deity, regardless of your particular favorite name of Deity. The same is true for members of our church, Nasarean Church of The Essene Way: We don’t ignore the variety called Hatha Yoga, but it is only one part of a much larger set of spiritual practices that include Fourteen Primary Yogas that, collectively, we call ESSENE YOGA. Those practices, collectively constitute our response to that second part of the above definition of yoga: they are our means – practices – for experiencing Union with YHWH, our Deity, God and Goddess including also the Lord Christ and Lady Christ, Crowned in Yah.

I encourage you to click on the link to a lengthy article on the topic of Essene Yoga that is provided below. That article explains how Essene Yoga is linked to the Essene Tree of Life, a symbolic tree that has seven branches and seven roots. Each of the branches and roots are linked to a particular type of yoga and we call those yogas ‘The Fourteen Primary Yogas of the Essene Tree of Life. Read the lengthier article linked below and also watch the videos provided on that topic below.

Morning and Evening Services at the Home Altar

By Day of Greenleaf, the Founding Yaiyr

Although it is fine to perform Essene spiritual practices such as meditation, prayer, spiritual singing, and yoga, anytime and anywhere, the Lord Christ, in The Holy Megillah: Nasarean Bible of the Essene Way, advises us that it is highly recommended that we create a ‘Home Altar’ and get in the habit of performing what he calls a ‘Morning Service’ and an ‘Evening Service’ on a daily basis.

In this ‘nutshell’ article, I will describe what is meant by the term ‘Home Altar’ and, in the longer article that I provide a link to, I will provide you with Yahshua’s suggested routine for Morning Service and Evening Service. Also, following these articles, there is a link to a video where I explain each step of the Morning and Evening Services in detail.

A ‘HOME ALTAR’ is a special place in your home that is appropriate to perform spiritual practices such as Morning Service and Evening Service. To create a ‘Home Altar’, first find a good place for spiritual practices such as prayer and meditation; then, using a small table or shelf, create a ‘Home Altar’. Place things of spiritual significance there, such as Essene books (especially my book titled, SADHANA: ESSENE SPIRITUAL PRACTICES, the Megillah, an illustration of the Essene Tree of Life, spiritual statuettes, and song books; you can put sacred art on the nearest wall. Two books that I intentionally created for use at Morning Service and Evening Service and any other time that you visit the Home Altar are 500 Sayings of Mary Magdalene and Sayings of Yahshua the Essene.

Get in the habit of doing a daily Morning Service at your Home Altar before breakfast, even if sometimes it is very brief. Likewise, get in the habit of doing a daily Evening Service at your Home Altar, before bed at night. A brief service is much better than no service! Even simply standing in a reverent attitude in front of the altar with your hands in prayer position for a Silent Moment before rushing off in the morning is better than entirely skipping it!

In the longer article that I provide a link to, I give you Yahshua’s instructions on what sort of activities to include in your Morning Service and Evening Service. BE SURE TO WATCH THE VIDEO I PROVIDE BELOW!

Essene Meditation Practices

By Day of Greenleaf, the Founding Yaiyr

Nasarean meditation practices are a key topic of my book, Sadhana: Essene Spiritual Practices. Yahshua (‘Jesus’) and Miriam the Magdalene teach not one but many meditation practices, all of which are provided in that book. Here I will simply provide a very brief treatment.

There are different levels of your personal consciousness. There are different levels not only of your mental/psychological consciousness, but also of your soul/spiritual consciousness. There are many different varieties of meditation; some are intended to do one thing, others another thing. But the most common meditation practices deal with helping you experience your Self at progressively deeper levels. They help you go deeper than the ‘mental chit-chat’ level that most people are stuck in, help you go deeper and, eventually, know – and actually experience – yourself as a spiritual Being of Love and Light. This enables you to rise above lower-level fears and the related negative behaviors and to recognize your highest purpose in life, your true life-mission.

Essene Wellness Practices and The Golden Path of Healing

By Day of Greenleaf, the Founding Yaiyr

Since the term ‘Essene Way’ is accurately translated by Nasareans as ‘Healing Way’, it is not surprising that the Nasarean Religion of The Essene Way is very much into Wellness Practices. Writing two thousand years ago, Philo of Alexandria described the Essene/Therapeutae monastery in Alexandria, Egypt, as: “healers of not body only”, but of body, mind, and soul. In modern language, they were HOLISTIC HEALERS. Because they were environmentalists, I describe them as: “healers of body, mind, soul, and planet.” In my forthcoming book, The Golden Path of Healing of The Essene Way: Holistic Wellness Practices of Jesus and Magdalene, I describe in detail the various Nasarean Essene healing/wellness practices found in The Holy Megillah: Nasarean Bible of The Essene Way.

Though that book is not available yet, I provide a link below that will take you to an article that I wrote on Essene Wellness Practices. It provides the list of things that, together, constitute what Nasarean Essenes call, ‘The Golden Path of Healing’. That article will list the seven categories of Nasarean ‘Physical Therapies’ and will describe one special practice (Nasarean Touch-Healing) that we call ‘The Golden Therapy’. I also provide a link to a video of a talk I gave at a past National Essene Gathering titled, Essene Wellness Practices. Enjoy!

The Essene Mystery School

By Day of Greenleaf, the Founding Yaiyr

We believe that the universe is a Cosmic School System consisting of ascending levels, like a Spiral Ladder. We pattern our own ‘Essene Academy of Higher Learning’ – our Essene Mystery School – on that model of the universe. In other words, our school – Essene Mountain of Peace – is also a sort of Spiral Ladder of ascending ‘levels’ or ‘grades’. Everyone starts at the beginning and works their way up.

Everyone starts by enrolling in our introductory course, The Forty-Nine Petals of the Blue Rose. One can become a member of our church by completing the first five assignments and agreeing to maintain a vegetarian diet. After becoming a member, it is not required to continue doing study courses, but those who do rise up the Spiral Ladder of Essene Mountain of Peace to become the teachers within our religion.

There are three main divisions in our ‘Mystery School’, the Order of the Blue Rose, the Order of the Red Rose, and the Order of the White Rose. They are each described in the article that I provide a link to below.

The Essene Martial Art of Zahyen and the Modern Green Lions

By Day of Greenleaf, the Founding Yaiyr

Nasareans study our own form of martial art called Zahyen. That martial art is explained in detail in my book, Teachings On Zahyen. Even Nasareans with no interest in the sort of self-defense movements associated with martial arts can practice Zahyen as a meditation movement: I include in Teachings On Zahyen a series of Zahyen Meditation Movements so simple that a child can learn them.

The aspect of Zahyen most pertinent to your understanding of its modern use is that it has historically been employed to defend Mother Nature. That is not done by karate chops – at least not very often – but via Gandhian style nonviolent direct action. Practitioners of Zahyen are called Lions of Zahyen, and one sub-group that specializes in defending Mother Nature from polluters is called: The Green Lions. I am the current head of The Green Lions.

The Five Precepts of Kindness and Butterfly School

By Day of Greenleaf, the Founding Yaiyr

In ancient Israel, they did not have the sort of schools that children attend like we modern people do. However, the Nasareans were an exception; they had something called ‘Butterfly School’ that Nasarean children attended starting at age five. Interestingly, its main purpose was to teach children the importance of being kind. That was done by teaching what was called, THE FIVE PRECEPTS OF KINDNESS.

Beneath this brief ‘nutshell’ introduction to the topic, there is a longer, more detailed article by Priest Spence. There are also at least two videos linked below on that topic. One of those videos, a full-length talk given by Priestess Terese at a past National Essene Gathering on this topic, includes a beautifully illustrated slideshow. I highly recommend you view it!

Although Nasarean Essenes begin to study The Five Precepts (‘precepts’ means ‘teachings’) of Kindness as children, the Holy Megillah stresses that even the oldest, wisest Nasareans continue to work with these precepts. It is a lifelong practice.

There is both a long version and a short version of The Five Precepts of Kindness. I will now give you a very short version and encourage you to read the longer article by Priest Spence linked below to learn the long version. In brief, The Five Precepts of Kindness are:

First Precept: Be kind to all creatures, as you wish kindness done to you.

Second Precept: Forgive yourself the trespass that is bound with being human, but lovingly walk the path of kindness with all your heart and strength, taking what steps you can toward ever-increasing kindness toward all living Beings.

Third Precept: Truly hope for the best for all Beings, human and non-human.

Fourth Precept: Wed your kind hopes with daily deeds of kindness.

Fifth Precept: To grow steadily in kindness, one thing is most needed: You must truly desire with all your heart to be kind.

In the longer article by Priest Spence linked below, you will be treated to the adventures of five-year old Miriam the Magdalene on her first day of Butterfly School! Enjoy (in-joy)

Key Teaching #15

Nasarean Green Magic, White Magic, and Our Priesthood of Wizards and Wizardesses

By Day of Greenleaf, the Founding Yaiyr

Nasarean Wizardry in a Nutshell!

The Nasarean Wizards and Wizardesses were – and are – the highest ranking teachers, priests, and priestesses of the Nasarean Religion of the Essene Way. Both Yahshua (‘Jesus’) and his wife and co-messiah, Miriam (‘Mary’) Magdalene, were initiates of Green Wizards of the White Rose, the teaching order within Essene Mountain of Peace Mystery School.

The word ‘Wizard’ comes from an old English word ‘Wisard’ that means ‘Wise One’. That word is the closest English word to the Hebrew word Yidde’oniy (pronounced yid-deh-oh-nee) which means Knowing One.

In the longer article that I, Day of Greenleaf, wrote on this topic and provide a link to below, I describe the topic of Nasarean Wizardry in more detail. But in this ‘nutshell’ introduction to the topic, I will end by giving brief definitions of Green Magic and White Magic, and then offer a general statement.

Green Magic involves using various elements of nature – such as herbs, rocks, natural settings, etc – in conjunction with prayers or enchantments. White Magic involves using rituals, enchantments, affirmations, prayers, liturgies, songs, mantras, etc in order to affirm something loving, kind, wise, good, to happen. If the White Magic ritual involves using nature elements, then that is called ‘Using Green Magic in White Magic’.

Nasarean White Magic is only loving and kind, never dark or mean spirited, and it is easy to demonstrate that all great spiritual teachers have been practitioners of White Magic, whether or not they used that term.

In several of my books, including Magdalene the Wizardess: Her Green Wizardry and Nasarean White Magic, I dive very deep. Start with the intermediate length article I provide a link to below (its about ten pages), and I highly recommend that you view the several videos I provide below on this topic.

Herbs and Oils

By Day of Greenleaf, the Founding Yaiyr

Herbs and oils play a significant role in Nasarean Essene wellness practices. By far the most information on that topic in The Holy Megillah: Nasarean Bibler of the Essene Way is found in the teachings of Miriam the Magdalene, the Lady Christ and wife of Yahshua, the Lord Christ.

Miriam’s mother, known as ‘Zibiah the Herbalist’, was an acknowledged Master Herbalist. In this ‘nutshell’ introduction, I will do what Miriam liked to do: I will share with you ‘The Seven Precepts of Zibiah the Herbalist’. Miriam herself considered this set of seven precepts to be the perfect introductory statement on the topic of Nasarean Herbalism.

After this ‘nutshell’ introduction to this topic, I will provide links to three very informative articles. The first of those articles is brief, being a list from the Megillah called, Magdalene’s List of Seven Key Categories of Magical Herb Craft. The second and third articles that I provide links to below are each an entire chapter of my (Day of Greenleaf) book titled, Magdalene the Wizardess: Her Green Wizardry and Nasarean White Magic. I also provide below excellent videos on this topic.

I conclude this ‘nutshell’ introduction to Key Teaching Sixteen with the promised document from The Holy Megillah: Nasarean Bible of the Essene Way in which Magdalene provides the key teachings of her mother, Zibiah, on Nasarean Essene herbalism.

Seven Precepts of Zibiah the Herbalist (Mother of Miriam the Magdalene)

Lo: here follows The Seven Precepts of Zibiah the Herbalist, as remembered and taught by Miriam, daughter of Zemira and Zibiah.

The First Precept: The Proper Position of the Nasarean Herbalist

  1. The proper position of the Nasarean herbalist is on her knees, inwardly if not outwardly, in perpetual prayer and praise!

The Second Precept: The Herbs of the Garden and Forest are Gifts from Elohim

  1. The herbs of nature are a gift of Elohim unto the children of this garden.

The Third Precept: There is an Herb for Every Ailment

  1. For each ailment of the human body there is a correlating herb that will cure or improve the condition.

The Fourth Precept: The Three Requirements to Know the Proper Use of Herbs

  1. The first of The Three Requirements to Know the Proper Use of Herbs is to maintain the position described in The First Precept. The second requirement is to feel the inner call to this ministry. The third requirement is to study herbs with the best teachers.

The Fifth Precept: Nasarean Herbalism is Taught to Initiates of Shevet Raphaim

  1. Herbalism within Yesar’el is taught to initiates of the Tribe of Healers, which is Shevet Raphaim. Even so, the basics are taught to all Nasareans.

The Sixth Precept: The Golden Path of Healing

  1. Nasarean Herbalism is part of The Golden Path of Healing taught by Shevet Raphaim; it is most effective when combined with the other therapies of The Golden Path.

The Seventh Precept: The Nasarean Herbalist will Plant Herbs as Well as Harvest Herbs

  1. It is not enough to harvest and use herbs; lo: the Nasarean Herbalist also plants herbs. In this way the herbalist gives back to the plants and thus experiences enhanced spiritual well-being and increased spiritual power. Only then does the herbalist wield natural magic.

I bring this ‘nutshell’ introduction to an end but encourage you to read the three informative articles that I provide links to below. I also encourage you to watch the videos provided below. The one titled ‘Holy Qara’ was a talk I did on Magdalene’s teachings on this topic at an event of historical significance to our church.

Magdalene's Teachings on Essene Tantra

By Day of Greenleaf, the Founding Yaiyr

In general, Tantra Yoga – practiced by various Hindu, Buddhist, Taoist, and Jain sects – is about spiritualized sex. Essene Tantra Yoga is also about that, but it is not just about human sexual activity; it is also about universal sexual activity. By universal, I mean that sexual activity is the basis for all creation, and we humans are created in the Image and Likeness of the universe. The very first ‘lovers’ were, in our Nasarean Bible, God and Goddess.

Universal sexual activity is seen in the dance of the little ‘plus signs’ and ‘minus signs’ in chemistry, as well as in such unexpected ‘places’ as electromagnetism, physics, and, well, pretty much everywhere.

In The Holy Megillah: Nasarean Bible of the Essene Way, the entire universe is dancing the dance of the first Cosmic Lovers, Jah (Divine Father) and Jahlah (Divine Mother). That dance is called ‘The Spiral Dance of the Lord and the Lady’ and is well symbolized by the Taoist (and Essene) Yin-Yang symbol.

A number of Nasarean Essenes speak about tantra in The Holy Megillah, but by far the most information on that topic is given by Miriam the Magdalene. In the Megillah, there are four full sermons by her on that topic. There is also a collection of especially, shall we say, ‘juicy’ sayings that, traditionally, are not included in the Essene Bible but are published separately, in a separate manuscript. In my book titled, Sacred Sex: Magdalene’s Teachings on Essene Tantra (available in the ‘store’ section of this webpage), I not only provide all four of Magdalene’s sermons on the topic of tantra, I also provide that collection of especially ‘juicy’ (more explicit) sayings that are not appropriate for children. That book also provides a complete history of tantra in various spiritual traditions, and excerpts from some of the best modern writers on the topic.

Below I (Day) provide a link to a longer article in which I provide one excerpt from each of Magdalene’s four sermons on tantra, and then end by giving you a few of the more ‘saucy’ sayings… but the most explicit sayings are only provided in my book.

In end this ‘nutshell’ introduction to the topic by informing you that there are two types of Essene Tantra, both of which get described by Magdalene in the article linked below. Those two types are: 1) Berekyah (Sacred Sex with the intent of conception); and 2) Gamara (Sacred Sex without the intent of conception).

Also below, you will find one or more of my videos – not explicit at all; after all, they were recorded at church services! – in which I describe (in a scholarly manner) Essene Tantra.

The Centrality of Bhakti (Devotional Love) in Essene Yoga and its Expression in the Nasarean Worship Style of Joyful Celebration

By Day of Greenleaf, the Founding Yaiyr

In ‘Essene Yoga of the Tree of Life’, called for short ‘Essene Yoga’, there are Fourteen Primary Yoga Systems, and each of those fourteen is named after one of the fourteen branches and roots of the symbolic Essene Tree of Life. There are seven branches, each of which relates to a particular spiritual aspect of life, for example ‘Love’ and ‘Wisdom’, and seven roots, each of which relate to a particular nature-force, for example ‘Water’ and ‘Air’. There is a whole ‘set of Essene teachings and practices’ for each of the seven branch forces (spiritual forces) and each of the seven root forces (nature forces). The ‘set of teachings and practices’ for any one of those branch or root forces is a ‘system of yoga’ named after the force it represents. For example, the yoga system for the Tree of Life Branch of Love is called ‘Love Yoga’ (‘Bhakti Yoga’ in Sanskrit), and the yoga system for the Tree of Life Root of Air is called ‘Air Yoga’ (Pranayama in Sanskrit). When we combine all the Fourteen Primary Yoga Systems – all fourteen of those ‘sets of teachings and practices’ linked to the seven branches and seven roots – THAT COMBINED ENTIRE COLLECTION OF TEACHINGS AND PRACTICES CONSTITUTES WHAT WE CALL ‘ESSENE YOGA’, or ‘ESSENEYOGA OF THE TREE OF LIFE.

Although each of the Fourteen Primary Yoga Systems that, together, constitute ‘Essene Yoga’, is important, the Lord Christ Yahshua and the Lady Christ Miriam (the Magdalene), both emphasize the centrality of Love Yoga (Bhakti Devotional Love Yoga), affirming that it is the ‘motivational context’ in which we should practice all of the other yoga systems in Essene Yoga.

The church that I, Day of Greenleaf (translator of The Holy Megillah: Nasarean Bible of the Essene Way), founded – Nasarean Church of the Essene Way – is designed to embody what was described in this short article: we study, practice and teach (within our ‘teaching arm’ called ‘Essene Mountain of Peace Mystery School’), the entirety of Essene Yoga, while following the advice of the Lord and Lady to give a special emphasis to Love Yoga by making it the ‘motivational context’ of all our other yoga practices.

A feature of the church I founded – Nasarean Church of the Essene Way – is that, by intentional design, I have cultivated the manifestation of a Bhakti-style, joyous-devotional-worship style, a style that is evident if you watch all – or most – of the videos of our previous church services on this webpage. Sure, we have wise teachers giving enlightening sermons at our services, but we also include an intentionally LARGE SHARE of bhakti-style song circles, often featuring Essene ‘Kirtan’ (group singing of devotional songs that often include the Bhajan-style of ‘call and response’ mantra-like lyrics that feature the Nasarean names of Deity), also including  joyous music of various styles – rock, reggae, and celtic and more – the one thing in common being that the music is positive, uplifting – in a word, ‘JOYFULL’!

Now you know enough to make sense of the other articles and videos linked not only to this Key Teaching Eighteen topic, but also the articles and videos linked to the forthcoming Key Teaching Nineteen (Joy Yoga, which is linked to Bhakti-style devotional worship featuring ‘Kirtan’ and ‘Essene Bhajans’) and Key Teaching Twenty (it’s about HOW TO BE BLISSFULL IN THE MIDST OF THE SEVEN TRUMPETS OF THE LAST DAYS!)

The first of those ‘longer articles’ is linked immediately below and is actually a combination of five short articles, each of those articles being an Essene Yoga Fellowship Lesson. I founded that Essene Yoga Fellowship to be the wing of our church that focusses on teaching Essene Yoga to those that want to become Essene Yogis. I mail to members of that group a new lesson bi-monthly. To give you a sample, this first article linked below is a compilation of the first five lessons in Essene Yoga Fellowship. If you resonate with them and want to pursue participation in Essene Yoga Fellowship (the first step is to become a member of the church I founded called Nasarean Church of the Essene Way), contact me – or, after I drop this body, my trained successors – at Essene Church, Box 36000, Florence, Oregon, 97439. – Day of Greenleaf

Essene Joy Yoga Expresses the Spirit of Our Bhakti Yoga

By Day of Greenleaf, the Founding Yaiyr

My (Day of Greenleaf) new (‘new’ as I write these words as 2025 flows into 2026) is titled ‘Essene Joy Yoga: Experiencing Heavenly Happiness On Earth!’ and, indeed, is the HAPPIEST BOOK I have written. This book – based on Yahshua’s Sermon on Joy Yoga found in Chapter Sixty-One of the Holy Godspell (‘Nasarean New Testament’), also includes the teachings on happiness of various esoteric scientists and sages, including modern quantum physicists and spiritually evolved yogis. The text on the back of the Essene Joy Yoga book cover serves as an appropriate introduction to the longer article linked below. Be sure to watch the videos linked to this Key Teaching Nineteen including the music links because, at the core of Bhakti Yoga-style devotional worship, is Kirtan/Bhajan songs expressed in our Joy Yoga. Here is that text from the back cover of the book:

The most fun, happy, joyful – BLISSFUL – of our Essene holistic wellness practices is called, ESSENE JOY YOGA. In this book, I teach you how to practice it according to the direct teachings of ‘Jesus’ and his wife, Miriam the Magdalene.

I have studied and taught the topic of ‘BEING HAPPY’ for decades, reading dozens of books and over one hundred scientific studies on the topic. The very best of everything I have ever read on BEING JOYFULLY HAPPY is in this book, from ancient Essene teachings to the latest scientific research!

A few tidbits: The more you smile, the less sick you get, the longer you live, the more optimistic you become and, because it causes an anti-pain brain signal to be released, smiling reduces pain by 40%.

Also: Optimistic people are not only the happiest people, but they are also 75% more likely to live over 85 years and, according to science, optimism is 25% inherited, 25% environmental, AND 50% PERSONAL CHOICE! And get this: Smiling causes positive emotions that studies show cause us to become optimistic!

But the most important topic in this book is SPIRITUAL BLISS – in Sanskrit ‘Ananda’ – for it is the HEAVENLY BLISS that the Lord called ‘Heaven Within’.

Remaining Joyful in the Apocalypse: an Analysis of The Seven Trumpets of the Last Days

By Day of Greenleaf, the Founding Yaiyr

Key Teachings Eighteen and Nineteen made clear that our Nasarean Church of the Essene Way is very into expressing our Bhakti Devotional Love in our Joy Yoga. But, as I will demonstrate in the longer article on Key Teaching Twenty (link provided below), The Holy Megillah: Nasarean Bible of the Essene Way includes prophesies about what the world calls ‘Armageddon’ and we Nasareans call ‘The Era of the Seven Trumpets of the Last Days.’  A careful analysis of The Seven Trumpets of the Last Days – which will be the topic of the article linked below – makes quite clear that we are living in that era now, and its late in the game: we are now in the era between The Sixth Trumpet and The Seventh Trumpet. I think it is fair to ask the question: How can we be happy, joyful, blissful, in the midst of the apocalypse?

I believe the answer to that question is found in the following verses from Yahshua’s Sermon on Joy Yoga in Godspell Chapter Sixty-one. In verses 796 through 799 of that sermon, Yahshua gives us what he called, THE KEY TO EXPERIENCING JOY EVEN AMIDST A VIOLENT WORLD. Here are those verses:

  1. In a world where the ‘Group Consciousness’ includes violent warfare and abundant murder and mayhem – such as in this ‘Contested World’ – it is far more challenging to remain joyful than when you reside in a higher heaven where the vibrations are far more harmonious.
  2. Yea, I tell you truly, to find joy amidst a violent Group Consciousness is not easy, and even the Lord and Lady have shed tears at the human folly that leads to so much pain and discord in this world.
  3. The key to experiencing joy even amidst a violent world is to view everything within the scope of spiritual evolution and the belief in the Ultimate Universal Salvation of all Beings that will bring Ultimate Joy to Universal YHWH, the All.
  4. That way, all the sad things that you see can be viewed as heading for eventual healing and salvation and can thus be incorporated into an attitude of peaceful joy regardless of outer circumstances.

We learned in the above verses that what Yahshua calls ‘The Key to Experiencing Joy Even Amidst a Violent World’ is the answer to ‘how?’ He defined  it as: ‘to view everything within the scope of spiritual evolution and the belief in the Ultimate Universal Salvation of all Beings that will bring Ultimate Joy to Universal YHWH.

So, when you read the article linked below in which I describe the ‘proverbial shit’ that is even now hitting the ‘proverbial fan’, please do not ‘freak out’ or ‘enter the vibratory frequency of fear’. Instead, view all the ‘group consciousness’ negative vibrations in the scope of spiritual evolution. Smile and work hard; your heaven is always within and will become manifest in your environment. Regardless of what happens on this planet, countless star systems and countless planets will remain on the Spiral Ladder of Being. Even so, we cheerfully do what we can to save this planet!

The Profound Significance of the Sun in the Nasarean Religion of the Essene Way:

The Location of the Seventh Heaven and Seventh Chakra of this Solar System, Doorway into the Next Seven Heavens on the Spiral Ladder of Spiritual Ascension, Essene Sun Therapy and Yahshua’s Sermon on Essene Sun Yoga

A ‘Nutshell’ Introduction to ‘Solar Illuminations: The Essene Sun Yoga of Yahshua and Miriam’

Dear Reader, I do not know what percentage of you that now read this ‘nutshell’ introduction to Key Teaching Twenty-One will go on to read all three of the longer articles that are linked below, but to those that accomplish that rather monumental reding assignment, I tip my imaginary ‘hat’. I say that it is a rather ‘monumental’ reading accomplishment for two reasons: 1) the quantity of pages: each of the three attached articles is approximately 100 pages; so, a total of over 300 pages; and, 2) It is also a great achievement to be able to read this particular 300-or-so pages; it is far more cognitively challenging than most reading you have done. It is describing things like the laws of the universe and various levels of the universe in words that many readers are not yet familiar with and may go right over their heads… or even seem mind-boggling.  If you are able to take on this assignment from me to anyone called to accept it, and to see it through (the assignment being to read all three of the long articles linked  below) successfully, you will not only have demonstrated that you are one of a relatively small percentage of people that have the attention span to do that, but you will have been exposed to such awesome information that you can’t help but be positively influenced. Each of these three long articles (linked below) is one entire chapter from my book, Solar Illuminations. As I will now share, I am very enthusiastic about sharing this book!

DAY’S IMPORTANT NOTE TO THE READER ABOUT THIS BOOK:

First, my sincere thanks for choosing to read a note that I labeled ‘Important”! ☺  I truly appreciate that! This is a brief note but includes a bold claim:

As a person that has researched the sun from both a scientific and a spiritual perspective for over forty years, searching for the best information available, I HONESTLY BELIEVE THAT THIS BOOK IS BY FAR – WITH NO CLOSE SECOND – THE MOST PROFOUND, AMAZING, AND SPIRITUALLY TRANSCENDENT BOOK ABOUT THE SUN AND RELATED SOLAR PRACTICES THAT I HAVE EVER READ. Yes, I wrote it, but the above declaration would be my sincere belief even it had fallen into my hands in a bookstore and was written by someone else! ☺

That does not mean that other esoteric sun-authors have not written profound words about the sun. In fact, as a researcher of books about the sun for forty-six years, I have included excerpts from what I consider the best of those books. Because my style of writing is that called ‘comparison and contrast’, I am able to share excerpts from various solar experts – be they scholarly scientists or sagely spiritualists – and compare them not only with each other, but also with the solar teachings presented in the alternative Bible that took me over forty years to translate: The Holy Megillah: Nasarean Bible of The Essene Way. From that apocryphal Bible that I personally consider to be the most advanced spiritual text ever given on this planet, you receive the Essene Sun Yoga teachings of Yahshua (‘Jesus’) and his wife, ‘Mary’ (actually ‘Miriam’) the Magdalene, as well as the solar teachings of other Essene teachers.

The word ‘Essene’ is from the Aramaic word ‘Assayim’ and means ‘Healers’. Various spiritual groups in the biblical era called their healing orders within their religion ‘Essenes’ (‘Healers’), but the specific group that Yahshua and Miriam were affiliated with were ‘Nasarean Essenes’, a mystical, holistic-health oriented religion that called itself: The Nasarean Religion of the Essene Way. They believed themselves to be a far more ancient form of Judaism than the mainstream version, and used an alternative version of the Bible that they believed was more ancient. They were the only form of ancient Judaism that believed in both God (Jah) and Goddess (Jahlah), practiced vegetarianism, and were looking for the coming of not only a male Christ-figure, but also a female one. The elders of that religion recognized two of their young members – Yahshua (‘Jesus’) and Miriam (‘Mary’ Magdalene) – as the fulfillment of those prophecies, and from that time on Essene Nasarean Judaism became Essene Nasarean Christianity.

I am the founder of the modern-era Nasarean Religion of the Essene Way, and the chief translator and publisher of The Holy Megillah: Nasarean Bible of The Essene Way

Within The Holy Megillah, a holistic spiritual practice is taught by the Lord Christ Yahshua and the Lady Christ Magdalene. That practice is for the health and well-being of Body, Mind, Soul, and Planet. It is called ESSENE YOGA. In order to teach that form of yoga, I founded ESSENE YOGA FELLOWSHIP. I have created books, classes, videos, and other materials related to Essene Yoga, the latest book being the one you are now reading: Solar Illuminations Featuring Essene Sun Yoga.

Essene Yoga consists of fourteen primary yoga practices, one of the most important of which is ESSENE SUN YOGA. In the pages that follow, you will learn about that variety of yoga, but remember that the title of this book also includes the term ‘Solar Illuminations’. Under that term I include any amazing, healthful, spiritual information about the sun that I feel called to share with you. I even include a section on ‘esoteric sunbathing’ that explains how you can safely enjoy one of my own – as well as ‘Jesus’ and Magdalene’s own – favorite life activities: NAKED SUNBATHING!

This book also introduces you to Beings that live in a spiritual realm within the sun, as well as how to prepare yourself to receive and understand messages – transcendental information from the sun itself – encoded in the sunbeams that touch your skin!

Assuming that at least some of you will be interested to learn a bit more about the ancient Nasarean Essenes in general – besides their solar teachings – and may be interested in my account of how I became an Essene and was given custody of the ancient scrolls – The Holy Megillah: Nasarean Bible of The Essene Way – along with the assignment to translate and publish them – I have included two appendixes at the end of the book. Appendix One is titled: Key Teachings of the Nasarean Essene Religion. Appendix Two is titled: How I Became the Translator and Publisher of The Holy Megillah. That second appendix ends with my out-of-body visit to a heavenly realm within a spiritual dimension inside the sun. By the time you have read this whole book, the idea that there is a Heavenly abode within the sun – within a SPIRITUAL DIMENSION (not hot!) – will not seem so impossible! ☺ In fact, since that is the Seventh Heaven of our solar system, every human soul will eventually make that journey, or fail to graduate this level of the Cosmic School System!

Enjoy! (In-Joy!) ☺

The three long articles are linked below. But I want to make one thing clear before you read those articles. In one of those articles, I describe the benefits of including certain ‘Seed Oils’  in your diet due to scientific evidence that links them with reduced cancer rates in general and reduced skin cancer rates in particular. However, I want to make clear that those ‘good seed oils’ ARE NOT THE COMMON SEED OILS FOUND IN GROCERY STORES. The heavily processed seed oils in most grocery stores are unhealthy and is not the sort I refer to in the linked article. In fact, it is the type of processing these seed oils get that renders many of them toxic. And you get seed and nut oils not just by pressing them, but by eating a handful: pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, walnuts. BESIDES READING THE THREE LINKED ARTICLES, I ENCOURAGE YOU TO WATCH THE SEVERAL LINKED VIDEOS ON THE TOPIC OF ESSENE SUN YOGA AND SOLAR ILLUMINATIONS, INCLUDING SOME REAL FUN SONG CIRCLES!

Essene Moses and the Nasarean Ten Commandments

By Day of Greenleaf, the Founding Yaiyr

What better way to get a crash-course on the Essene version of Moses than to read the Nasarean version of his Ten Commandments. After this listing of the Ten Commandments of Essene Moses, please read the longer article on Essene Moses – which presents him as a great Essene Martial Artist – that I proved a link for below. I also encourage you to watch the several linked videos below on the topic of Essene Moses.

The Ten Commandments of Essene Moses

As Given in The Holy Megillah: Nasarean Bible of The Essene Way

1) Within the One YHWH is both God and Goddess; wherefore, worship both the Father God and Mother Goddess, that you be centered in the All.

2) Within the creation is a spark of the Creator; wherefore, know yourself.

3) Within every creature is a spark of the Creator; wherefore, respect all living things in the manner that you respect yourself.

4) YHWH desires that all creatures live in nonviolent cooperation; wherefore, walk softly on Mother Earth, seek nonviolence, and make no laws that conflict with the Way of YHWH.

5) YHWH does not sanction violent warfare; wherefore, any religion, scripture, or prophet that declares otherwise, either lies or is in ignorance, and should not be obeyed.

6) You shall not kill any creature for pleasure, nor for profit, nor for food.

7) You may eat the milk and eggs of animals that are well cared for, but know this: These foods are for this world only; for, in the lower heavens the Cherubim eat but fruit, and in the higher heavens they eat only heavenly essences.

8) You shall cultivate honesty within yourself and in every relationship.

9) You shall forgive yourself when you stumble, and likewise forgive others their shortcomings.

10) Love YHWH within and around you, and love every creature as yourself; for, lo: Love is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and none find YHWH except by Love.

Essene Sevenfold Peace Lifestyle

By Day of Greenleaf, the Founding Yaiyr

In The Holy Megillah: Nasarean Bible of the Essene Way, Yahshua – the Lord Christ – teaches a lifestyle practice called The Sevenfold Peace. It is about living in such a way as to create peace in seven key areas of life. Here in this ‘nutshell’ introduction, I will simply list those seven areas of life. However, linked below is an in-depth article that describes The Sevenfold Peace in detail, including suggested practices.

The seven parts of The Sevenfold Peace are as follows:

  1. Peace with the Body.
  2. Peace with the Mind.
  3. Peace with the Family.
  4. Peace with Humanity.
  5. Peace with your Heritage/Culture.
  6. Peace with Mother Earth.
  7. Peace with God/Goddess.

I encourage you to read the in-depth (about twenty pages)  article on this topic linked below. I also encourage you to watch the several excellent videos on The Sevenfold Peace by various members of our church provided below.
